Well, I'm a little disappointed now that Danny and I passed up the party in Sept. 2007. But, I am super excited to be able to take Hailey in Oct. 2011. It looks awesome!!! And I'm sure you're sick of hearing it by now, but your photos are mah-velous!!!! Looking forward to more!!
Awesome, awesome pics of the fireworks. I had a couple picked out to copy into this post to say how amazing they were and then I kept going and there were more and more. Your camera is amazing!
Sounded like a fun night at MNSSHP. Makes me wish we hadn't skipped it this year.
What was up with Tarzan's hair. It looked wierd.
W.O.W. -- love all those pictures of the parade (and I don't remember seeing the Mme Leota flaot before in anyone's pictures, so I think you're right that it's new.)
And I loved the pic of the castle with the "pumpkin-colored glow" -- divine!

Well, that settles it, then. It's new!

Way to go on the candy -- I think I spy some of my favorite peanut m&m's! And Mary Devall would have gladly taken all of those Dots off your hands!
And doesn't Tarzan look the slightest bit doofy . . . kind of all brawn and no brains?
Jill
Sorry you had to miss out on the clucking, Jill. And Mary Devall would've been welcome to the Dots. I don't like them.

Okay...your camera rocks!! Tell me, how were you taking all of those amazing night shots of the castle and the fireworks?? We tried so many different settings and things and your pictures make mine look so sad. What kind of camera, cause I am getting one before our next trip to Disney!
Love my camera! It's a Canon (and I think pretty much all Canon cameras are great) SD890IS. It's got a pretty high shutter speed which helps with night shots, but I shot those in auto (without flash).

Yes, they did give out good candy. And because only a few trick-or-treaters knocked on my door this year, I've still got a lot left!

The stepsisters would agree with you. Prince Philip is their favorite. He fights for his princess, while Prince Charming says "don't go"

I really liked your shirt too, and I'm glad you got the photopass with those guys. That's a special keepsake for sure! I love that Woody hung out to watch the parade with everyone. THAT is what makes it magical, things like that. We got to meet a special Woody on our KTTK tour, he was so cool. He stood behind our tour guide and copied/mocked his gestures and everything. It was hilarious!!!
That was one of my favorite moments! I love to see CMs enjoying themselves, and it was cool to get to watch the parade with Woody (he stayed for the whole thing!)

Yup, it's the same one! The color accent feature is a feature on most Canon cameras. I didn't even know about it until Crissy posted it in her TR! Then I checked my camera and it was there.

I do have the picture of the three of us together. It's really cute if I may say so myself. I will post it in my TR when my sorry butt gets moving on it! It has been a little around here lately.
I loved watching the parade with my passporter friends! It made it even more special!!!
It was nice to be able to cluck without feeling self-conscious.

Your pictures of the parade and Hallowishes are awesome. It was almost like being there and they helped fill the void and empty gap for me of missing MNSSHP yet another year. That parade is my absolute favorite and you captured it so well. Thank you so much for sharing them.
I loved your video of the HH, as he is my favorite part of the parade. I do have a question. Does he trot the entire parade route now, or does he still break into a run on Main Street?
Looking forward to another update.
Well, you'll have to fight Mary Devall for the Dots, Nala. I think the HH was slowing down as he was getting ready to make a turn. He runs for most of the route, though.

Awesome party~ looks like you had a great time and got lots of great candy.
I use the auto setting 99% of the time, which is what most photographers will tell you not to do.

Badonkadonk? I think perhaps she was having a wardrobe malfunction. She definitely needed someone to adjust her dress or bustle (Eileen, is what I'm thinking of called a bustle?)

The trick is to visit the candy stations later in the evening. By the end, they were giving out two handfuls at a time!

You'll love MNSSHP (all 3 of you). And I do love it when people say my photos are good. Makes resizing and uploading them much less of a chore.

I think part of Tarzan's problem is they only use that costume a few times a year. The CM didn't fluff/de-lint it enough, I think.

Fun with friends! Read about it in my Trip Report. Final thoughts added 4/9. NOW COMPLETE!
Or read about my fall trip in my completed Trip Report!
Your pictures, as you well know, are phenomenal! But my favorite one was the one of Woody watching the parade. For some reason that just strikes me as so magical, to sit there and watch the parade, and you look over and there's a character, just watching! So cool!
This has been my fav update so far! I LOVE the pumpkins (faves: torn btwn the Daisy pumpkin Donald's holding or the Sleepy Hollow display. Anything re: Sleepy Hollow is great) I LOVE the scarecrows - The lady scarcrow with the parasol is great. And the pictures... just fabulous. I could almost hear the fireworks...
That was a serious bustle! That's what you call having some junk in your trunk...
The little princesses were so cute, oh and the PARADE. Just too cool.
Thanks for this - for some reason, I feel so happy after reading this update!
Will definitley have to remember the tip to hit up the candy on into the evening!!! And I'm with you. Canons are great. All I've ever owned. A couple powershots and now my Rebel.
Oooooo. I just found this TR and don't have time to read it all now. First page sounds yummy and I can't wait to read about the Passporter meet. Now I can find the thread again.
I love this update. Fabulous pictures, especially of wishes. I hope you don't mind but I Copied some of your castle pics with the fireworks. They make great pics on my desktop. I hope to see the boo to you parade some day. I wish I could watch the video of the HH ride but for some reason it will not load for me. Oh well. I guess I will just have to see it in person.
The bus driver was fun, playing Disney trivia with us. He asked us lots of questions. He asked which two Disney characters have the same exact name and someone figured it out after a bit I’ll let someone figure it out before I post the answer.
Has anyone answered this yet? I had one of those two o'clock in the morning moments when the answer hit me. There I was, tossing and turning after the dog woke me up, trying to go back to sleep and all I could do was rack my brain for the answer to this question. I thought I had it. And when it hit me, it seemed so fitting for your TR title and your love of both that Ghoster Rider clucking chicken and Goofy. I was so proud of myself.
Until I did a little research and discovered that cow Goofy had a thing for, was not named Clara, but Clarabelle. Drat!
A little more research gave me the answer and I was ashamed of myself that I couldn't come up with it on my own!
Perhaps the Disney "Chip" in my brain needs recharged.
