That's awesome that you didn't have to wait in line all that time for TSMM. How cool that the kids got picked for Jedi Training! Can't wait to hear the rest of the story.
We are trying Tusker House this time, I can't wait Yum-o!
Maybe we should wait in line for the Jedi Academy, I'll see what DS wants to do.
The jedi Training was so worth it. Darth battled every kid one at a time. It was so . Ken's mom just cried she thought it was so neat Alex got the chance to see him up close.
Yay on trying TH! I hope you love it as much as we do.
Great day at DHS so far!! Hope the rain stays awayI can't wait to try TSMM.....
you'll be addicted to it it's so much fun!

I hope you get to experience TSMM for your next trip. It willbe something to look forward to.
I'm glad Disney changed the Jedi training to be a wait in line thing rather than we'll randomly pick someone and break other kids' hearts!

Great updates and pictures! Glad you were able to do the Jedi Training!
I remember reading one of your TRs and that's when I learned about the Jedi Training and had it marked in my brain as a must do on this trip. It's such a neat experience.
And the all important duck or your head will be taken off...
Whew! At one point when the kids were done the storm troopers got a little testy but the kids stood their ground.
Defeated DV and the storm troopers left but not before cracking a few jokes. They were actually pretty funny.
The kids then all got a certificate that they were padawons. It was quite thrilling.
Star Tours had a short wait time so we hopped that next. Another ride with a pretty cool waiting area with R2D2 and C3PO. I gotta admit, as I am prone to motion sickness and vertigo this ride made me quite queasy.
After the show we hit TSMM again with our FPs then decided to try HISTK playground. Unfortunately it started to drizzle so they closed it because the slides, etc were getting slippery. Drat! It was fun while it lasted.
From there we made to Sci –Fi for an early dinner. We were seated in a car and I have to say this has to be the quietest restaurant on Disney property. The kids sat in front and at one point Abby turned around to say “Mom, I don’t think a lot of this is appropriate for us to watch.” They didn’t like it and the food wasn’t good either. So, this will not make our list again. Sorry Sci-Fi fans!
We then bolted to the Beauty and the Beast live show which everyone loved.
Then we bolted next door for Fantasmic. Holy sea of humanity batman!!!! The theater was HUGE and PACKED! We sat in the last row of one of the sections with gentle drizzle slowly falling. The show was pretty cool with all the villains and Mickey. Of course good always triumphs.
By this time it was nearing closing time so we headed for the buses and a good night’s sleep for our last day at the parks.
The one thing I will say about DHS is it seems you have to pick and choose what you want to do. Waiting in line for the Jedi training caused us to miss the Lights, Motor, Action show. That was a bummer. We really wanted to hit some shows but seeing how we also wanted to do some of the bigger attractions there didn’t seem to be a way to do both. The show times seemed so few and far between. Weird. Anyone have a good touring plan for this park (skipping the big thrill rides??) I would love to see it!
Coming up: Didn’t think it was possible but more firsts at MK – an island, a rollercoaster and a princess then dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Can you say who did your make up????

I Star Tours because I Star Wars. But it does make me queasy, too. I have found that if we ride in the first row where all I can see is the screen in front me, I do better and so does Stefanie as it doesn't seem as jerky up there.
Luke and I have talked about how difficult we find it to get everything done at DHS. We had two trips this year and still didn't see Lights, Motors, Action (for Luke) or Beauty and the Beast (for Stefanie).
I feel the same way about DHS! Many say its a one day park, or even a half day. But we gave it one full day each of the last two trips, and have yet to fit it all in. After our most recent trip- I've decided to allot two DHS days for our next big trip! I think it's more of a two day park for us.....
