A little background for those that don’t know me.
My parents are seasonal CMs, they work in the gift shops in Fantasyland and love it! They are also living and working again this year at the Nature Conservancy’s Disney Wilderness Preserve. The Nature Conservancy in Florida - The Disney Wilderness Preserve Which anyone can go visit, so check it out. It is a very cool place and Disney gave the money to preserve the land.
My sister is bringing her new boyfriend this year! My parents have not met him yet, so we hope that goes well. But he is a great guy! They are both elementary school teachers and we are so happy that they could take time off to go with us. They will be joining us on Thursday – Monday.
DH is a pastor, so I always wait with baited breath until the plane takes off and no one has died. We would hate it, but we can’t come back home for a funeral.
This year we decided to not try for a cruise, as CMs my parents can get great deals at the last minute, but they haven’t come through the last 2 years. And my sister wouldn’t be able to just pop down either if we were planning for a cruise.
So this year we are doing something totally cool . . . staying at the Beach Club! I am so stinkin excited! I’ve dreamed about staying at this resort for so long. I cannot wait! My parents got a great family and friends rate, but the 3 nights at BC are way more than the 4 nights at Pop. But I’m still really excited! We will spend most of our time there going to DHS and EPCOT, there are lots of new eateries I want to try and we have to play Mini Golf at Fantasia this year. And hopefully one day will be slightly warm enough to swim at Stormalong Bay.
Staying at POP will be new for us too, and I’m really excited to get pictures with all the cool icons!
Also new this year, we are going to try the Quick Serivce Dining Plan for the first 3 days. Mom figured out we can get it for $15.00 a day with the CM friends & family rate! How cool is that! So I’m mapping out places in EPCOT to eat that we haven’t tried (Japan, Morocco) and cool snacks to get that we don’t usually (Dole Whips and anything from the Main Street Bakery or the pastry shop in France). And of course while we are at the BC I have to try Beaches & Cream! I’m very excited about that too!
There are going to be so many firsts for us, it is hard to believe that there is so much we haven’t done!
Up next – Our plans

Great start, Melissa! So neat that you will some many of your family members along for the fun! We are staying at BC this coming June, so I'll be really interested in how you all enjoy it. You definitely must try Beaches and Cream.
Great start to your TR! I so totally understand about the possible trip interuption.
My DDad was a pastor and we came back early on many vacations because of a
death. It got to a point where my DM would either not plan a vacation or we would
go to a relative's house and DDad would come back by himself and have the
funeral, then come back and pick us up.
I love your tr's and am so excited that you headed back to Disney!!! How great that you are staying at the Beach Club - - definitely visit Beaches 'n Cream!
