Hi, we are at the Poly now on day 4 of our 9 day vacation. It has been quite hot, humid, and crowded. We have had bad thunderstorms most afternoons that pass in a few hours. The first few days were not so crowded, but it sure picked up the past 2. We have been to AK, EP, DHS and tomorrow MK. With a good plan we have had little wait times. The kids are troopers and are hanging in there for about 5 hours before we just have to leave to take a break for the afternoon.
We have spent lots of time in the pool here and are enjoying visiting the other resorts for QS dinners.
So far we have been to Cap'n. Cooks for breakfast, Contempo Cafe for dinner, Chef Mickey's dinner, Beaches and Cream dinner, ABC Commisary lunch, and Sunshine Seasons lunch. We still have T-rex, Kona, and Crystal Palace ADRs coming up.
Tonight we went to Beaches and Cream and it was fabulous! We had a great server named Justin. The veggie wrap was good and the rest of our family got delicious burgers. The table next to us got 2 Kitchen Sinks!!!! It was humongous! We walked over to Epcot and listened to Off Kilter, got a Kaki Gori, and a funnel cake.
We have watched the fireworks from the Poly beach a few nights and the electric water pageant too from the hammocks. We have not made it to the Main Street Electrical yet but hope to tomorrow night. We were over at the MK for an hour last eve. and the entire Main Street was packed an hour before the parade began.
I will try to upload some photos soon , just having some technical difficulties (user problem!)
Glad your having a great time! If you want to see MSEP, getting a spot early and waiting is the best way to have a front row seat. But we have found that going to Frontierland tends to have less crowds for when you can't do that. But if its busy (summer and kids being out of school, this is the norm) then getting a spot early will be your best bet if you want to see the parade up close.

Glad you are having a great time! There's nothing like those Poly hammocks. Can't wait til we are relaxing in one in August. Enjoy the rest of your vacation!!!
Sounds fun (except for the heat and the crowds).
We will be there (at SSR) next week!
