Yay! You've started your PTR! I knew you wouldn't be able to hold out much longer!
I completely understand the need to start thinking about it, planning it, and sharing your thoughts! I'm constantly thinking about how I want my next vacation to turn out...even though I haven't really planned out when it will happen yet! Vacations are such wonderful things, we always want to make sure we try to set things in motion hoping that everything will turn out the best!
Can't wait to read more! I really hope Logan decides to join you!

Great pics! My two oldest are getting more and more into sports as they get into the teenage years.... and I also find myself really enjoying "live" games, but I still have zero interest in watching it on television.
I hope both boys get to join you next year. I love your choice of resorts and think the "boys (including the big one)" will love it. We stayed at the Movies one year...some financial stuff came up and we did not want to give up the trip so we switched to the value. Loved it!!! We had an amazing trip and I would no doubt head back. We walked all three of the All Stars and they all looked great...the theming is just so fun.
for All Star Sports!! We really loved this resort as I think I told you before in another thread. It's really fun and overall we had a great experience. I've been told Sports is more compact then the other All-Stars, and when we went exploring even the buildings furthest away weren't that far from the main building.
I don't recall there being a full sized basketball court... I looked at my resort pictures and it looks like there's a very small court with a VERY tall net in the basketball section.
I say Post Away!!! I know that I'll be following along for the ride with you for the next 9 months!! Our trip is just about 6 months away (just waiting for the November calendar to come out...and I can make ADRs on Mother's Day!!) and I was considering starting one now too.
We've stayed in all of the AS resorts at least once. I like ASSports too! We did ASMovies the last time we stayed in an AS resort in 2006 because Tyler was all into Toy Story at the time.
Our oldest went through the 'team' clothing phase for a while. (our 2008 trip pictures are full of them) but now he's into the "sports-ish" stuff, Nike, Under Armor, Addidas...etc.
Thanks everyone for following along! Sorry no updates yet. I started back to work, and well you know that story. I did want to post about the game Peter & Nathan went to on Friday. Nathan's cousin had extra tickets, so the 3 of them went to see the Orioles & Rays play in Baltimore (Melissa!) Here are some pictures:
Nathan {hearts} sports, so when his cousin called and asked if he would like to see his favorite MLB team play, you can imagine his response. Peter, Nathan, & DC drove to Baltimore on Friday to watch the Orioles play the Rays. The trip started out with Nathan getting one of his favorite player's autographs and later watching him hit a homerun. They had a wonderful time, despite the rain that came later in the game.
Camden Yards - Baltimore Md. Friday, May 06, 2011 Tampa Bay Rays vs Baltimore Orioles DC, Nathan, & Peter at the game.
A storm is brewing......
Adam Jones (#10-CF), Robert Adino (#11-SS),Derrek Lee (#25-1B)
Nick Markakis (#21- RF)
Nathan got an autograph from Derrek Lee (#25- 1B)
Adam Jones #10- CF
Orioles lost 6-2 {despite the loss, they had a wonderful time!!}
