Love the ticker!!! Don't love that you didn't get ASSp for your entire trip. I say book Movies...keep looking out for Sports...and cross your fingers for a discount.
(We're still crossing ours that free dining will extend into November)
Sorry you couldn't get your choice of hotels. Isn't there a way you could just book the whole week at ASM and then wait list what you really want? I think I've read in other TR's that people have done that, and sometimes something opens up.

I'm also not a fan of split stays..... I would book the movies for now just to lock something in.... remember all 3 all stars are side by side, so you can easily walk over to enjoy the sports ammenities..... I would keep checking back- this far out- I think there is a good chance something will open up before your trip.... I'm really suprised it's booked up during such a slow time
Thanks for the input everyone!! I really prefer not to do a split stay, and the whole idea of going the value route was to try All Star Sports, so I'm still trying to work it out so that we can stay there. The problem with our ressie is the first night of our trip Sun Jan 15. There isn't an availability on that night, but there is for the rest of our stay. I just need to decide if I want to book Sports for the 5 nights, and just book something else the first night (like ASMovies). We will be traveling on Sat night 1/14, so we will be staying at yet another hotel on that night too...prob in GA somewhere. I need to decide soon, as I feel like MLK weekend is going to be a bit busier than the other times we have gone in January.
PARK HOURS I looked at park hours for the days we will be there and it's looking like they are really going to work for our schedule.
Arrival day: SUN JAN 15 MK {EMH} 9am -2am Day 2: MON JAN 16 DHS {EMH} 9am - 10pm Day 3: TUES JAN 17 Epcot {EMH-am} 8am - 9pm Day 4: WEDS JAN 18 AK {EMH-am} 8am-5pm Day 5: THURS JAN 19 MK {EMH-am} 8am-8pm Day 6: FRI JAN 20 Epcot {EMH} 9am-midnight!!!
Now, based on park hours, comes the FUN part of the planning.....DINING!!!!!
Hopefully, I'll get the reservation part of this figured out and booked SOON & let you know what we decide on.
Also, stay tuned for thoughts on dining.....old favorites or try a few more new places?????
