Ok-I just checked my PMs and yours is definitely not in my folder--I'm so sorry I missed you, but I didn't get it! (I don't ever delete my PMs) It looks like we're going to be at MNSSHP on the same day--tuesday right? I can't wait to meet you and your family. I'll send you a PM with my trip details soon.
Yay for Meri! I was wondering how the tooth scenario was unfolding! Is she still liking Kindergarten?
Ugh, don't talk to me about braces...my daughter is starting next month, and even with dental coverage it's gonna cost an arm and a leg!
She loves kindergarten!

BTW....suitcases will come out later thank you very much LOL I wont heckle you (hmmmm) I probably wont pull down that suitcase until a couple of weeks into september But my guest bed will hold items until they will be brought out hehehe
Okay so I'm super duper jealous of you getting to see Sugar Ray...ahhh that man...so yummy I'm so upset I wont get to see him! Take pics for me!!!
I think it rocks all your visits to the festival. we are spending one whole day and half of another due to the cruise. Otherwise I'd never see the other parks LOL
Hmmm maybe I will go into more detail on my PTR about the festival next...
Yes, you should go into detail about the food in the PTR. I promise to take lots of pix of Mark McGrath! I know what you mean about making time for the other parks. Obviously, lol, we're not. Though now mom is second-guessing the schedule again. She worries there's TOO MUCH F&WF time now, lol. Crikey, is there any such thing? So, stay tuned... *sigh*

That's crazy! Must have been a server glitch. Oh well, we will definitely meet up at the party, so we'll make up for it then! Looking forward to the PM.

Oh yes, lol! The tooth fairy decided on 4 quarters and a $1 bill. Fortunately, Meri was incredibly excited about both. She loves coins and thought the dollar bill was the greatest thing ever. Ah if only she would stay so easy to please!
All caught up! I had to go to the vending machine before I started reading all about the food or I dont think I'd be able to keep the rumblies in my tummy quiet.
Congrats to Meri on losing her tooth! And I think the tooth fairy left a very nice gift.

Congrats to Meri on losing her tooth! And I think the tooth fairy left a very nice gift.
I know how you feel! I had an extra long lunch today because I was so hungry after reading a bunch of TR's! LOL!
Ok so we've already made some tweaks, but I'll get into that in another update, because we're not done yet. So for this little update, I'll get into something that won't change... the rides we want to ride at EPCOT!
I can tell you now... we will walk through the gates... and we will either hit The Character Spot or Spaceship Earth. I'm not sure which one Meri will want to do first, but I know she loves both. She will ride SE as often as she can, lol. I think she just likes the stuff at the end, really - getting to choose stuff and seeing her picture up there. Funny kid.
Then we'll head directly to Nemo, likely stopping for photos beforehand, with all of the characters. And if the wait isn't too long, Soarin. Otherwise we'll likely grab some FP's for that, because if you've read my past TR's, you know we don't wait more than 30 minutes for rides. I just don't have the patience. And 30 minutes is REALLY cutting it close. I think we waited 30 minutes for Dumbo once, and that was taxing, lol! Thank heavens for smartphones and iPod touches, I tell you what! (I know, I'm spoiled, sorry).
We may ride Living with the Land again. Mom loves that ride. And then it will be over to the Journey into Imagination ride. I know many PP'ers hate that ride, but man I love it. Except the stinky part. I hate that part. But the rest of it is just charming to me, what can I tell you? LOL! So we'll ride that. Then we'll pop over to Test Track on our way to World Showcase, and probably grab FP's, unless the line is 20 minutes or less. You never know, I guess, but it's a Sunday so I'm not optimistic, lol!
I also want to head over to Club Cool again to trick Meri (again) with Beverly (lol, she won't remember she hated it) and let her try some other good flavors. And I want to try the watermelon again. MMM!
In World Showcase, I want to ride Maelstrom. I'm not sure I remember if I've ever ridden it before. I also want to try a Kaki Gori. I've never tried one before! And I want to see the movie in France. I also want to get caramel popcorn in Germany (for some odd reason they didn't have it the day I was there in Feb) and I want to pick up some wine in France and Italy. And I want to get some tea from the Twinings shop, and also pop by Sharon's cottage in Canada!
I would also like to do a KP mission. We meant to do one in Feb but we never did. Hopefully we can make time this go-round!!
I know it's a short update, but I have to leave to go volunteer down at the family shelter! I'll write more later!
What am I missing here? Any little details that you think I should go check out?? I want everyone's favorite things to do at EPCOT, so I can see what I haven't done and what I want to add to my list!!!
Hey Melanie, I thought of you today! You know how much you love the juice at the Ohana breakfast? Well, I've never been, but after just getting back from my tropical vacation, I had fruit juices on the brain! I went to Trader Joe's and got some 100% Pineapple Juice and Orange Juice. I put some of both in a cup and then added a little bit of concord grape juice I already had. It was delish! I wondered if it was anything like that fabulous Ohana juice you love!
Your Epcot plans sound great! I'm with Meri...Spaceship Earth is awesome, and I really loved going on it over and over just to see how things turned out at the end! Maelstrom was a lot of fun for me! I only went on it once, but it's on my must-do list for next time because I loved it so much! I get a kick out of Living with the Land, too! Test Track is fun, too, but don't know if Meri will be in the mood for that.
I have lots of food favorites at Epcot, but I'll wait until you're done tweaking.

It all sounds great to me! One tip: When you get the caramel popcorn in Germany, don't buy the pre-packaged ones that you can pick up in the store. Go to the counter to order. It takes a little longer, but you'll get freshly made popcorn--much better! The only time I envy people with smart phones is when I'm at WDW. Must be great to be able to get the updated tip board info while touring. I can't convince myself to pay for the phone all year just for that, though, so I guess I'll stick with my stupid phone.
I hope you love the KP missions - we really did! In fact, DH wants to do one on our upcoming trip and we'll be kid-free.
I really want to try one. We wanted to do one on our last trip, but somehow never found the time. This time around I want to really focus on some things we've never done before... so hopefully that will work out.

That juice sounds good to me! Maybe I'll try something to that effect! I'm hoping to get Meri on Test Track again. I reminded her that she loved it last time (maybe a slight exaggeration, but she did like it) and that it's just riding in a car. So we'll see. I won't force her, of course, but I'd like to encourage her to do it.

Thanks!! She drew a picture for the tooth fairy tonight and put it under her pillow, so of course I had to remember to take it, and I'm putting it in her journal, lol. Too cute!

Thanks! I'm pretty excited for the rides, but mostly because Meri loves them so much, and it's a riot to watch HER watching the ride activity.
