She is SUPER excited! I haven't said anything to her yet about who is going, because I'd hate it if she got super excited that we were going with Brad and Hailey, and then we go with grandma instead, lol. So she knows we're going, and she knows we're going with my friend and her family (which includes her friend), but she doesn't know the rest.

There's more changes to come, for sure!

Thanks! I wish you were going to be there at the same time, again, so we could bump into each other!
We were really excited to go to Disney with one of Meri’s friends – so she’d have another playmate. A few days after making the plans, I was talking to another friend, Rhonda, who told me that her family is going to Disney for fall break! Their dates are slightly different than ours are, but nonetheless, they will be there at least part of the time that we are there. Of course, we agreed we must meet up!
About a week ago, one of my really good friends, Stephanie, told me that HER family is going to Disney for fall break! Her younger son is autistic, and there's a doctor in Orlando they want to take him to see again. So instead of her just coming down alone with her son for a day, they're going to do a family trip. Since I had told her how special-needs-friendly WDW is, she decided to try it out! Her son is on a gluten-free diet, and I know WDW is great with that. Plus, she wants her daughter to get to enjoy WDW.
So that makes four kids in the same little “play group” (they all went to preschool together) who are going to Disney World during fall break.
THEN, last Saturday at a birthday party, one of the moms came up to chat with me, knowing I’m a Disney expert, because she is taking HER family to WDW for fall break, and wanted some ideas!
So, as it stands now, there are five kids from Meri’s preschool class (including Meri) that will be at Disney World for fall break! Crikey! And “best of all” (ha), they’ve left it up to ME to coordinate the play dates and meet ups. No pressure! LOL! I suggested we all meet for dinner (just the five moms) one night in September to discuss our schedules, and see what overlaps where. Not that we have to be highly coordinated or anything, but it seems to me it would be silly to not bump into each other for even one ride together whenever we're in Disney World at the same time!
Which leads me to a question I KNOW some of you will be able to answer. If there are five families… can we load each family’s photopass pictures on to one account online, and then split the cost of a CD by 5, and later just copy the CD for each family? I can’t find anywhere that says you can’t… but I don’t want to give everyone the idea, just to turn around and be wrong when we can’t do it. Just seemed to me a great way to save money, if we all just share the cost. I don't know if they limit the number of photopass cards you can load onto one account, or anything. But since we'll all be in many of the photos (I plan on doing a number of photopass shots of any combination of meet-ups, just to have), it seemed to make sense to me. Thoughts?
I'm pretty excited about all the people going. I know we won't see them all a whole lot, but even one little meet up, riding a ride with one of the kids, will be fun. I mean, growing up, I never ran into people I knew at Disney, much less good friends of mine! So it cracks me up that on this trip, we're there at the same time as so many of her little friends.
Ha! That was my trip last year. My boss and family went down two weeks after we did. A co-worker was down for part of my boss's trip. A former co-worker was arriving at Disney the day my boss's family was leaving. It was a little crazy! LOL
I'm pretty sure the Photopass idea will work. I know you can enter multiple cards, but not sure if there is a limit.
I have sympathy for you and trying to coordinate with that many people.
Your fall break is beginning to sound like spring break for my town where such a large portion heads of to Panama City, FL, that Panama puts up a banner welcoming Owensboro.
