It would be a hoot to get Stefanie and Meri together and let them tell their stories. Stefanie once asked if there would be potties in heaven. I answered wrong when I said, "I hope not." She stomped her foot and said she wasn't going anywhere she had to pee in her panties.

MK plans are looking great!
I'd love to be a fly on the wall to listen to those two girls have a chat!
Thanks! I just want to do it all. I love love love MK.

Tea cups are a no can do for us as well. I think it's the age thing.
Storytime with Bells was replaced by Rapunzel...
Thanks for the heads up about Belle / Rapunzel, I wondered if that was the case. Well, that'll work.

Oh my gosh, lol! That made me snort my coffee up my nose, thanks. And hey, you know what, I hear exactly what she's saying!!! I would LOVE to listen to a conversation between them. Meri could learn some Stefanie-isms! Hopefully some day we can get them together!

It would be a riot, for sure. They could ponder all of the mysteries of the world. I'd love to see what they came up with...
Phew! Today Meri and I raided the Disney Store. We had a blast. Meri got to pick out a toy for herself (that's the bribe - if she is quiet and cooperative through the entire shopping trip, then at the end, she gets to pick out a toy that's on sale).
The toy
BTW, pardon the awful quality of the pix... they're from my camera phone. My camera is in the shop.
First things first, she had to decide what she wanted to be for Halloween. She knew she wanted to be a princess, but she wasn't sure of anything further. On the way to the store, she decided she wanted to be Rapunzel. So at the store, we headed first to the Rapunzel section. We picked out a dress (which I think is a nightgown, but what do I know), but I wasn't happy with the shoes so we didn't get any accoutrements. Which brings me to a quick little rant... why do all of the princess dress-up shoes have to have heels? I don't buy any heeled shoes for Meri - it's just not necessary (or particularly safe) for a 5 year old to wear heels. I don't get why they can't make these cute little shoes in flats??? I know some of you probably have them for your kids, and I'm certainly not judging... but it just annoys me that I can't get most of them in flats.
So here's the Rapunzel dress, which fortunately matches the pink sandals she has.
Then, in wandering around, she decided she really wanted to be Tinkerbell. I loved the entire set for Tink, so we decided that she would be Tink for the MNSSHP and for Halloween itself... and then she'd be Rapunzel on another Disney day, plus on the day of our Trunk or Treat party at church. That should cover that!
Here's the Tink costume - but the coloring in the photo is ALL wrong. The dress is really bright green, like Tink's. And the wings are so cute - they "sparkle" with little flashing lights... and the shoes light up when she walks! It's just the cutest ever.
Then, oh... I just couldn't help it... I got Meri this adorable set... she'll wear it at Disney, too, of course. Gosh it's just the cutest ever. Meri takes ballet, and has for 2 years now, and so this was just the perfect outfit for her...
So that was another nice little score.
And then I picked up a little battery operated fan, which I think will come in handy at the parks, since it will still be hot there.
It goes with her costume, lol, what can I say...
Last but not least... I bought myself a tshirt, which I'll likely wear to the MNSSHP...
I got a kick out of this because I'm a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE Twilight fan, and I thought this would be the Disney version of it, with Vampire Mickey, lol.
So all of the clothes are hanging up on my bed (I have an iron canopy bed), and the suitcase is out with the shoes and fan in there. So it's official, I have started packing! I start working out on Monday in earnest, and I have to drop one size in 44 days, because my pants are all getting tight on me. I think that's definitely doable, though. Once I get going with that, I can start picking up some cute little outfits to bring with me, too. I know we're going back to the Disney Store next weekend, so I might pick up another t-shirt or two while there.
I went into the cafe to get my paycheck today, and the GM asked me if I wanted to close for him tonight. I jumped ALL over that (knowing I was heading to the Disney store, I figured I'd better accept, lol). So that's another 5 hours on top of the 7 from last night. Then another manager asked me if I'd close for him tomorrow night. So that's another 4 hours... and then I'm closing Monday night, too... so that's ANOTHER 4 hours. Phew! So that's 19 hours for the paycheck after next!! That will be a tidy little sum for more Disney dough!!
My friend (the one we're sharing the condo with at Bonnet Creek) called me to let me know that she's got some Disney dresses, too, for her daughter. So the girls can trade dresses during the week, too, which essentially doubles the options. She's got Tiana and Belle, and I've got Rapunzel and Tink, so that's four right there! And she's looking for more dresses on eBay, so hopefully she'll get a couple of more, and maybe I will as well. We're coordinating efforts so we don't have duplicates.
Anyway... there's an update for you! Now I'm going to take a quick snooze... because I've got to work in a couple of hours, and it's been a looooooooooooooooooooooong day!
Hope all of you east-coasters are doing well and not having any issues with Irene!!
Oh I just love the Princesses at ballet class T shirt. I wish it came in my size. I can wear a boys large, but nowhere near getting into a girl's shirt. Definitely a good though about coordinating plans with your travel companion's costumes. The tinkerbell costume you guys picked out is adorable, and it looks like it came with flats! I completely agree that little girls should not be wearing heels for trick or treating. Dangerous!
Great purchases! I can't wait to see Meri in these outfits! Your Halloween Mickey shirt looks great, too! I've been wearing the same Jack Skellington shirt for Halloween for years and years now, lol! If I ever decide to change (or when that shirt finally wears out!), I'll look for a Mickey shirt just like that!

Loving all your plans. And I am getting super excited for you hearing about all the possible move discussions. Angel loves where we live but if I told her we were going to live by Disney she would prbably have the house packed in a week
