On Saturday, we'll get up, and mosey on over to Ohana for breakfast with the characters at 935am. I have a sneaking suspicion we'll be up and at them much earlier, and if that's the case, then we'll go early and hope for the best. I absolutely love the food at this meal. It's so simple, and yet it just tastes so good!

And I'm excited about having the juice again! On our last trip, we ate here on our departure morning, and I drank many many cups of juice, plus three cups of coffee. Needless to say, for the first two hours of the drive home, there were four potty stops. *sigh* I thought mom was going to kill me. LOL! So this time around, at least I can enjoy it and not worry about that!
After a nice leisurely breakfast, we'll probably take a dip in the pool a while. I'm going to request a late check out, though I know those odds may be slim since it's a Saturday. Either way, we're going to swim. But if we don't get early check-out, we'll pack up the car first, then swim.
We're basically going to kill time until my friends fly in and get to Bonnet Creek. I imagine that it won't be until after lunch, so we may grab a light lunch at Captain Cook's at some point. Once they arrive and check in, we'll cruise on over to Bonnet Creek and get ourselves sorted out and settled in. I'll talk about Bonnet Creek in much more detail in a future update, so I won't bother with much here, except to say we'll likely wander the grounds and try to orient ourselves.
Then we have an ADR for all six of us at Sanaa at 6:25pm. I cannot TELL you how excited I am about this. Seriously. Excited. *drool* I remember the last trip, we had lunch there, and I had this tandoori chicken on naan with some lettuce, tomato and some drizzled dressing... and I got a side of the basmati rice. Oh my gosh... it was so good, I have thought about it for months on end. Now, I looked at the menu on allears, and I don't see this dish on the dinner menu, however I'm 99.9% sure they'll be able to do it for me. They have the tandoori chicken, they have the naan, they have lettuce and tomato and yogurt... poof!
Here's a pic from when I ate it the last time:
Now I'm all hungry.
Anyway, it will be fun to get all together for a meal, and I'll enjoy watching the two girls get excited about the animals on the savannah.
After dinner, we'll either head over to the Poly to watch the fireworks from the beach, or we'll just go back to the resort and veg out. That will likely be a fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants thing, depending on how we feel. But it sure would be a nice way to end the day!
Sounds great so far! I like your plan of just letting the other groups know where you'll all be each day and then leaving it to each group to make any arrangements to meet up. Gives each family time together and the choice of having company--as much or as little as they wish. You've got me drooling just thinking about a meal at Sanaa!
Well, I finally found it and got caught up. How great to stay free. Even if it isn't on property...you're still there!! And I LOVE the Poly!! You are going to love it. They may be older rooms, but they are huge and I just love walking around the Poly at night. So tranquil and "island-y" B'fast at Ohana is a tradition for us. And making 'play dates' at Disney for Meri...it really doesn't get any better than that! Except if Jason were to be on one of those play dates
Plans for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday look terrific! Sanaa is always one of our best meals at WDW! And now I'm seriously wishing I could eat there this weekend!
I'm really looking forward to your description of the Hilton Bonnet Creek! Okay, I'm looking forward to all of it, especially the pics of Meri who is growing up so fast in your trip reports!
As a Hilton Honors members, I'm trying to stay on top of the Hilton options in Orlando since I "should" be able to get discounts and the occasional free room with them. Nothing beats staying at a Disney hotel, but if I can get a few nights free with Hilton, it'll extend my trip! So I can't wait to hear your review!
