Well kudos to you for finding a way to squeeze it in and scoring rock star husbands who let you have some fun!
Thanks! Now I can't let you go on talking about the hubs that way because then he'll get a big ego and we definitely don't want that to happen.

Hi BJ. Welcome to the TR. Don't worry if you can't make in on here all the time. I just said that so people I've never met before wouldn't be shy about posting their comments. I can't say I know anything about the iPhone since I have a droid, but I'm guessing you'll be with the other masses of people getting their new phone when it comes out.

Now's here's hoping for good airfare for next year!
Well, you're a very lucky woman!!! And I'm very jealous of you!!!
Well, I’ve come to that point in my PTR, where I really don’t have an “Up Next" update to post, all I have are bits and pieces of random thoughts, ideas and questions. So here’s where I let the spontaneity take over and just go with the flow.
In a previous post I mentioned that on Thanksgiving, after we have our dinner and stroll through the Osborne Spectacle of Lights, Chad and my father would be heading to the ESPN Zone to watch the Ravens game, while mom, Hope and I would be heading over to Epcot. Our plan is to partake in a cocktail or two to celebrate the holiday, and I accumulated quite a nice little list of beverages I would like to try.
The only problem is that Epcot is only open until 9pm that evening, and I’m not sure how much time we will have to actually enjoy ourselves. However, the next evening is Epcot’s EMH, so if we don’t get a lot of time to stroll around WS with an AB in our hands, I plan on taking the opportunity to do so the following evening.
I've already had the grand marnier slush and a regular margarita in Mexico, so here's my list of new things to try…and I want to thank Kelly (OhToodles!) for sharing the link to Party Through The Parks in order for me to actually put it together.
Drinks Worth Trying:
For Osborne Spectacle of Lights at Tune in Lounge - The Snowball $8.50 (Kahlua coffee liqueur, Baileys Irish Cream, Amaretto, half & half and whipped cream sprinkled with cinnamon nutmeg) It's the drink on the right
China Tea Stand - Canto Loopy $7.50 (vodka & cantaloupe juice) Again...drink on the right
France Drink Stand - Grey Goose Citron Lemonade Slush $9.34
Italy Drink Stand - Italian Margarita $10 (frozen Limoncello, Grappa & Margarita Mix)
Sorry for the blurriness, but it might be a realistic look if you'd had too many of these to drink
Morroco Tangierine Café - Casablanca Coffee $6.99
Tangierine Cocktail $7.99 (strawberry, pina colada and tangerine topped with Bols flavored liquors)
I think out of all the drinks I listed, The Snowball at HS and the Casablanca Coffee at Epcot are the two I’m most looking forward to trying. I’m not sure if I can get The Snowball “to-go” since it’s made at the Tune-In Lounge, and if anyone knows the answer to that please let me know, but if not, I’ll have to get one when we go to dinner at The 50’s Prime Time Café. The picture does show it being served in a plastic cup, so I'm thinking you can, but I'm just taking a guess on this one. The Casablanca Coffee sounds like it would be nice if the evening were a little on the cooler side, but no matter what I think that’s going to be my first purchase at WS.
If anyone has any other suggestions or any reviews on the above listed drinks, please share what you know. I’m sure there are others around here that would love your input…I know I would. I may also want to buy a little treat to enjoy while sipping my Casablanca Coffee, and while I usually go with my “old faithful” Chocolate Mousse cake from Norway (don’t you worry…I will still be enjoying this for lunch during one of my Epcot visits) I would like to try something new from a different country. I’m going to have to do a little research on this one since I won’t have a lot of time to be running around that night searching for the perfect munchie to nosh on. Just more to think about before we leave for our trip …it’s never ending isn’t it?
BTW...do you think this update holds the record for the most "drinking" smileys used in a post?
All caught up Melissa! I'm so excited for you & your Mom! Going to WWoHP! Awesome! I want to go someday too! It looks amazing.
Glad you're not missing 50s PTC - it was easily the BEST meal I had on our recent trip. Just awesome!
When we went in early December in 2009 they had a drink stand near Sci-Fi & the Writer's Stop that I think was serving those specialty drinks so you may be able to get one outside the Tune-in Lounge too.
Maybe I should send you some Eat/Drink cards - sounds like you will put them to good use.
The Snowball and Casablanca coffee look and sound yummy!!!!!!!!

All of those drinks sound so good! I didn't get a single AB at the World Showcase this past trip. I guess next time I need to schedule them in like you are. In my weak defense all of our Epcot days were extremely hot and I usually stay away from alcohol when I am too hot.
Hey Melissa, I always get a Grey Goose Slushie from France, and they are yum-O!! If you like frozen lemonade, then you will like it.
I tried the Cantaloopy for the first time this past trip last week, and I'll tell you...it gave the GGS a run for it's money, in fact it might be my top drink now. It tastes just like they stuck a straw in a cantaloupe. SO good!!
