Day 2 10 Sep 11 Today starts like most of our days while we are at WDW at around 6:15 I am off for the Marina and to go fishing. Today my guide is Charlie Brown. I am not kidding his name is actually Charlie Brown only when I asked him about his sister Sally the inference went right over his head. Things started off okay my first cast of the day is with a jitterbug and the first fish of the day. A few more fish and topwater shuts down and now I am back to worming. Worms are working okay and we are picking up some fish but Charlie wants to hit some shiner spots. So off we go. The dock area for the ferry at the TTC is our first spot. Everytime the ferry comes in the baitfish get scattered and we pick up a few fish. Charlie is happy with the results and in no rush to try someplace else. But after awhile we move on to the tip of the island opposite the Poly ( they call it Poly Point but I know it as Wave Island from the now defunct wave machine they had to make waves years ago for the Poly"s beach) Here worming is a bit more productive and shiners work as well. Just like yesterday Lucille has gone on the trail ride this mourning only I can't remember which horsey she had this day. But she is wondering why they don't have more than just the one trail. At 11 we dock and its back to the cabin to join up with my wife. At the cabin we discuss where we can try for lunch and Lucille wants to go to Trails End. She had the Burger while I try the Andullie sausage with shrimp over grits. Both of us enjoy it and then its off to DHS.
I love your morning routine! I'd be on the trail with Lucille I love horseback riding and when the boys are old enough, we'll head over to FW ourselves.
I had an ear-to-ear grin on my face as well reading about Lucille's reaction to Eyeore.
Sorry about the rain, but you gotta make of it what you can right?
Mike, I am back from my trip and finally catching up. I smiled a little to myself when I read about Lucille singing and tapping her toes to the parade, and you didn't say anything but just smiled.
I love how much fishing you are able to do! And what a great job for your guides...just fish all day long.
Can't wait to read Lucille's reaction to Tower of Terror!

Only day two and it sounds like Lucille is having a great time. I understand completely about the sterilization of WDW. Now it's disney parks items and I miss the resort mugs in the worst way!

Your reaction the peope at the table nearly fell on the floor laughing. For your boys Ft W does offer an extra tame pony ride at barn area near Pioneer Hall. As for rain Well when life hands you lemons make lemonaide

I may be crazy Tricia but I am not stupid if I let her come around on her own I'll go a lot further.
most of the guys I fished with love what they do getting someone like me that knows how to fish and does 95% of work for them is a treat. But they all say other side of the coin the family that comes and has no clue can make for a tough trip. They also have to maintain boats and gear
Whats the sense in going for premium plan as you well know if you don't take advantage of it

Never to late Jennie what took you so long have a hard time shaving off my mustache Only kidding I really wanted a new Ft W sweatshirt my old ones are getting just alittle too frayed Some of the more permanent residents of campground told us that Disney is getting a ton of flack over this and marketing is starting to reconsider decision so hopefully in near future
