my mom leaves tomorrow early morning for her first DVC stay--at Vero beach with her husband (he's flying home on thursday when she meets me at AKL--ha!) I can't wait to find out what she thinks about her first DVC experience!!!

Can't wait to hear your mom's thoughts on Vero Beach, since we're going there for the first time this summer! Tell her I want a full elbodans-worthy TR on it!

yeah--that's super not going to happen. she's not a trip report writing kind of person (mainly because she's a 'working 12 hour days' kind of person. she so deserves this break!) i'll report back with whatever she sends me via text and email, and then will try to summarize her trip in my own words when i see her on thursday. perhaps while she sleeps after fantasmic on our first night.

well, if you were at 10 yesterday, then today is single digit day. hooray!!!
for me, today is 'one hand' day--meaning i can count the days i have left on one hand! ha!
i'm all packed (it took all of five minutes--disney is a really easy place to pack for) and currently charging my camera battery. now all i have to do is puppy sit all day, take care of my mom's cats twice, make dinner for my father and husband (because i haven't seen my dad since before my LAST trip) and wait for it to be 5 tomorrow morning to head out to the airport. this time tomorrow i'll be in the air!
oh--and an update on my mom's first DVC stay at Vero Beach--she really, really likes it. i was afraid she'd be bored, but no--she's making lots of friends. which is awesome. she wants to go back every february. and i guess she can, since she has DVC!
she also keeps sending me beautiful beach photos. i'm a little jealous!
Yay! Hope it's not a terribly long day... Glad to hear your Mom is enjoying the beach!
