A great night so far at the party! The rain did it's job, cleared out some of the park for you, but then quickly went away so you could enjoy the party. That pic you posted from Dumbo made Fantasyland look like a ghost town!
Shane and William had just left MVMCP, so now we were free to do what the girls wanted. And first up on Bethany’s list anytime you ask, was BTMRR. We didn’t have far to go and got on the ride after just a little bit of waiting. Bethany had a blast again. She practically repeated verbatim everything Shane had said the last time we rode a couple of days ago. He was trying to tease her every time we slowed down and said things like, “Phew, I’m glad that’s over.” Then she would laugh as we would careen down the next hill. She was amazing me with just how much she was remembering of what he said.
After we were done with that, I wanted to make our way over to Main St to see the MM&Y and then Christmas Wishes. We both had to go potty and I figured we would just stop at the bathroom by the Casey’s and the Crystal Palace. Some other ladies had the same idea as us, so there was a pretty long line. We were getting close to the starting time of the MM&Y, plus the cold weather was making the bathroom stop very necessary. Then a great idea struck me: there are bathrooms in the baby care center! We parked the stroller and quickly made our way in. I asked the CM, if they had a bathroom for Bethany to use. I wasn’t sure how strict they were about having to have a “baby” to use their facilities, but she pointed me right there. And we walked into the completely empty restroom. Other than the toilets being a little closer to the ground, it was perfect. We were in and out in no time and found a great viewing spot right in the middle of Main St.
The MM&Y started and once again I was drawn in.
Some special scenes for Christmas.
At the very end, a silhouette of Santa’s reindeer pulling him in his sleigh flew across the front of the castle. It was really cool.
I just love this show. It gives me such a warm fuzzy feeling and also completely amazes me at the same time.
While waiting for Wishes I snapped a picture of the castle all done up in lights.
And I was finally able to get a picture of Main St with the wreath swags across the street.
While we were waiting, Bethany started losing steam pretty quickly. She was looking really tired. So I figured I could get one last ride out of her after Wishes and then we would call it a night.
Christmas Wishes began and I just watched in awe and took pictures like crazy.
Tinkerbell still flies, but I thought it was kind of a stretch how they got her in the storyline. She didn’t really fit. Maybe it should be Rudolph or something.
My favorite part was when the castle turned into a Christmas tree. So !
These fireworks were attached to the castle and spin around.
I was very surprised when the fireworks went off about 180 degrees around you. So neat.
I was just blown away by this show. It was so good. And I want to go to another MVMCP to see just that one thing. It was my favorite thing of the whole trip. I felt bad that Shane had to miss it, but he didn’t seem too bothered by it when I described it the next day. I did make him watch a video on YouTube when we got home. He still wasn’t as excited as I was. You just have to see it in person I guess.
Bethany was tired, but I asked her if she had enough energy for just one more thing. She did, so we went to look for Rapunzel. I had heard that Flynn Rider would be appearing with her at the party. We went to her garden and found a really long line. But it was Belle and Beast. I knew we could see them the next day at Epcot so there was no need to wait that night for them. Since we were close to the tea cups, I asked Bethany if she wanted to go for a ride. The answer: of course. We walked right on and got into our tea cup.
A cold little girl and still a little tired.
We had a great spin.
As we were coming off, I was pretty well satisfied with all we had done. But somehow we ended up on Peter Pan. I think we had mentioned it earlier in the evening and hadn’t made it on. Bethany asked if we could, and since she suggested it I figured she must be getting a second wind. She enjoyed it and wasn’t as scared as the last time.
Since she seemed much more awake, I asked if she wanted to do BTMRR one more time. She didn’t hesitate to answer yes to that question. On the way we stopped at CHH to pick up some hot chocolate. It wasn’t getting any warmer out. When we got to BTMRR all the cup holders in the stroller were full, so I had Bethany put her hot chocolate in her seat. I just made a mental note to pick it up before she sat down.
We walked right on the BTMRR and had a fun ride. Did she want to ride again? YES! So she led the way through the line and we got right on again. In fact, they were sending the trains off half full that’s how low the crowds were. On the second time, we got to sit in the front row. Another fun ride, but my head was starting to hurt and said that should be the last one. Bethany was ready to ride again, but I told her I just couldn’t do it. She was pretty good about it. We retrieved her hot chocolate and started to make our way out of the park.
But we didn’t count on the second parade. So we stopped and waited for it to pass by. I guess we could have taken another ride on BTMRR. Once that passed by, we walked through Adventureland towards the hub. We passed by the flying carpets and Bethany had to point it out. We really hadn’t had the chance to explore Adventureland at all this trip. She looked up at the carpets and said wistfully, “Maybe someday we’ll get to ride those.” Talk about tugging on my heartstrings. I told her the someday was today, and we could make this our last ride. She was happy and we walked right on. We had a fun, but chilly flight. I made sure to keep us flying above or below that spitting camel. We did not need any cooling off that night.
That seemed like a fitting end to our party. Bethany literally hopped back into the stroller. As soon as she hit the seat, I heard a POP! It was her hot chocolate. She jumped back up and managed not to get too wet, but there was a puddle of hot chocolate in her seat. We visited the nearby restrooms and got it pretty well soaked up with paper towels. I lined the seat with a couple of layers of paper towels and pointed the stroller for the exit.
As we walked down Main St the snow was falling.
It was the perfect ending to a perfect party. We had such a great time that night. I couldn’t believe that it was 11:30! I was even more amazed Bethany had lasted this long. This was the latest she had ever stayed up, which I think just made the party even more special for her.
When we reached the end of Main St, I had to turn and take just one more picture to document this perfect night.
We caught a bus back the resort, snuggled under our warm covers, and fell right to sleep.

You got some amazing shots of the MM&Y and Holiday Wishes! I both of those shows, worth every penny I spent on those MVMCP tickets! I'm glad that Bethany got her second wind and you were able to enjoy a few more rides to end the night. It sounded like a wonderful time!
