Our Departure
We were finally on our way! 10 months of planning and it was finally here! Our trip to JFK was pretty uneventful, other than D.O.D's slight mishap with the seat. As we were driving, his seat kept moving backward. So, we pulled off to side of the road and he tried to get it to stay, numerous times, each time more forcefully (and more annoyed) than the previous. Well – the final time he did it, he pushed the seat so hard that instead of flying backward, he somehow flew forward . By this point, I couldn't stop laughing and neither could he – the scene was like something out of a sitcom! I wish I had got it on video !

After making our way to JFK and parking, we hopped on the Air Tran and were at the terminal in 10 minutes. We went to bag drop to drop off our bag and then went through the “Even More Speed” lane. We had booked “Even More Space” for our flight down because a) It would mean we would get extra legroom b) We could fly through security. The “Even More Speed” lane really was worth it – shaved about 30 minutes off the wait time and gave us peace of mind! Highly recommended !

We browsed some of the shops in the terminal, but didn't find anything. Off to the terminal we went, called my mom, and before we knew it they were calling us to board (another perk of “Even More Space” - your the first to board - just like First Class ). Not much to report on our flight – which I guess is a good thing! We landed at MCO right on time at 9:00 and headed off to Magical Express – or so we thought !

Next Up: Magical Express and our night at ASM. I promise their will be some pictures in the next post – I didn't start taking pictures until we arrived – but I did take a lot when we got there!!!!
