As a kid I went on a family trip to Disney during our school vacation. I instantly fell in love with Disney but it was the only time I ever went. Even though I had been to Florida after that, fast forward 13 years to last year and I got my chance to go back to Disney, this time with my family; DH Tom. DS Alex, and DA Sue. My DA needed a website for her business built and since we had built a successful site for our business. We offered to do it and she compensated us with a trip to Florida. My DH planned the trip and it was great. It was more of a Florida trip than a Disney trip but great. We only saw a fraction of the world since MK was the only park we went to. We also did MNSSHP. My DH had never been to MK or WDW so it was great to see his face walking in to MK he was like a little kid again. So much so we did MNSSHP again for our date night.
My DS was only 2 at the time of the trip but had a blast. As soon as we got home we wanted to go again only this time an on property Disney trip. My husband is turning 30 this year and my aunt and I got together and decided than since he had never really had a birthday or anything as a child we would make 30 a BIG celebration. My DH and I talked next and he was ready to go that day lol. So I got into planning mode and started putting the trip together. To offset some of the cost we are building an ecommerce site for my aunt this year to help a nonprofit organization she is involved with. I have to say I never realized how fun the planning part of a Disney trip is.
