Hello again! Welcome to another PTR. For those who are new this is me:
My name is Alyson (Ally for short) and I’m 29 yrs old and a NICU Physicians Assistant from Hamden, CT. This will be my (counts on fingers) 8th trip the The World and my 4th solo trip. As much as I love taking friends and family with me to Disney, I relish my solo trips because they allow me to set my own time line and let’s face it, be a little selfish.
I will be there from March 4-11th and I am staying in a studio at OKW. This is a new resort for me and one more I can check off my list as having stayed at.
But, even though I’ll be heading down solo and spending most of the week on my own I will get to meet up with some very special people at the end of the week: my California cousins!! My cousin Alyson (why yes, she was named for me) is a CHEERFORCE Cheerleader and will be competing the 2nd Sat/Sun I am down there at WWoS. Her mom, Lani, will be there with her and I am really looking forward to meeting up with them at some point and seeing Aly cheer.
Beyond that meet up, I really don’t have a lot of plans for the week. Especially food plans. I want to do mainly CS meals at my own pace. I have booked a few meals though, because I need my character fix!
Tuesday morning I am having a late breakfast at Chef Mickeys. Friday is an earlyish dinner at Garden Grill. And my last morning (Sunday) I am going to have breakfast at Olivias.
Special plans…I’m not 100% sure yet, because I haven’t booked anything. Some things I am thinking about are the Behind the Seeds Tour and Characters in Flight.
I’m flying Southwest from Hartford to Orlando and I’m taking the first flight down and the last flight out to maximize my “bubble” time. I’ll be booking DME and once again attempting to go “bagless” in the parks (yea right!). The other thing I will be attempting is to write/post my TR while on the trip. With free wi-fi in the room, it may be possible! I have not yet decided whether I will be pre-purchasing a photo-pass cd, but I suspect I will be.
Great start, Ally! I really enjoyed your last TR, I'm looking forward to this one I've never done a solo trip, but they really do sound wonderful. I'd love to tour the World at my own pace, not worrying about others in my party! Go ahead, be selfish, and have a BLAST doing it!

EXACTLY!! One of my favorite things is to just sit and people watch and enjoy the atmosphere. I feel like when you're with other people you can't do that because it's go, go, go.

I hope you'll have a great time!
Haha, replace IASW with Haunted Mansion and that's it exactly

Fantastic--I hope you like Olivia's as much as I do--it's never crowded, the service is good and both breakfast and dinner are great! For breakfast I like the Cuban and the Benedict. At dinner I'm an appetizer girl and go with crab cakes and conch chowder. I was a little upset that they took the onion rings off the menu-but I'm over it.

Thanks! I like that photo, too, as it reminds me how happy and relaxed I feel when I'm in my favorite place. I hope you get some good procedures to watch. Should be interesting for you, with your medical training!
