Cheryl, I will definitely share my presentation info, probably in this Trip Report. I can't seem to find much in the way of published books on the architecture of WDW. I've got the paperback Imagineering Guides to MK, Epcot, & DHS and will be ordering the one on AK soon from Amazon.
I guess Disney doesn't allow many books, giving away its secrets. Somone earlier in this TR said they'd love a book or a video on the Tree of Life carvings. So would I! I've googled around but haven't found anything on it.
I woulld LOVE to take the Sunrise Safari sometime, but I doubt I'll ever spend enough for Concierge level at AKL.
So many fascinating things to explore, so little money!
I'd love something on the Tree of Life carvings - what an amazing subject that would be for a book. I think they'd get lots of sales of that... maybe you should write to Disney and suggest it!

Cindy, I've spent the afternoon catching up on your TR! And it has been so much fun! I was a tad homesick with all the terrific pictures around AKL. That resort will always feel like home to me. Then what a great day you had at AK. All the pictures from here are great, especially the Tree of Life. That little yellow bird is such a cutie! We have cardinals here all the time and several of them really like the tree in our backyard. See the one in your photo made me anxious for spring to bring back all our pretty birds as well as the bunnies. All your meals have looked very ! Again, I realize we are going to have to try Flying Fish. The decor there is beautiful! Thanks for infusing your TR with so much life and fun! Have a super weekend!

I'm enjoying this a lot! The photos at FF were a bit painful-- I just LOVE that place. And the mozzarella and tomato salad is one of the best salads I've ever had. The balsamic dressing is incredibly delicious.
Thanks so much for the trip report, Cindy. It has been a lovely way to sit and enjoy my Sunday while daydreaming about WDW. Of course the best part is you and your glorious attitude.
and Sheri, where did you get that top from? It's so cool - I love it!
Cheryl...i got it at Tren-D about a year and a half ago. i have not seen them since. if i ever see them in the stores again, i'll pinch one for ya!
no acting chops? really? ha ha ha....that measly little sword the norseman had in his hand is not scarey at all...and i love the valkyries shot...notice the strategically placed shield to hide one's belly after consuming wayyyyy too much food at the buffet...
yes, the hot tub was divine. and yes, i can fall asleep in a snap, usually. ha ha ha...although i hope i did not keep miss cindy awake with snoring. oh, btw...she had earplugs that she used each night...hmmmmmm.....
Really enjoying the TR and finding out what happened before we came along. My only critique so far is wasn't Cinderella at Akershus? Where's the picture?
Can't wait to read about our meeting with you fine young ladies even though I was there!
I'm gathering my thoughts and pictures and should have ours started soon.

Sheri, I also used earplugs those first two nights solo at AKL, and you did NOT snore, I assure you. . But I must stand by my critique of your acting. Dahling, I'm trying to help you evolve beyond being my understudy. LEARN from me, dear!

Brent, I don't recall if Cinderella was at Akershus -- Sheri, do you have any pics of her? I do not. Possibly she was resting up for BRENT's visit. I still can't believe that MY fave was the PhotoPass princess of the day. How great is that for my first time at Akershus?
I am loving your TR! It makes me want to take a slower time at AK. Our experience there wasn't the greatest, but we had a lot going against us that day. I certainly want to give it another chance after all your beautiful photos and descriptions.
