You know I read people who are offering their condolences and it makes me smile but also embarrassed because you all are the ones who got me through it, reading the boards and on facebook etc. plus cards, and prayers, and everything So thanks to you all!

Anyway. . .

I'm panic stricken because I haven't really planned the days so much, Day 1 is always Epcot for us because Lily loves Kim Possible. We have reservations at Garden Grill. Lily still loves the characters and I know that Chip and Dale are favorites of my Mom, and none of us have eaten there, so I am excited to eat here. Oh yea, and did I mention that Lily also loves Pluto!

I can't believe that we are only three weeks away! I did actually start packing last night, actually I bought Lily a new outfit and just put it in an outfit ziplock for the trip. . .She and I both love that method of packing for her, then, she just grabs a ziplock in the morning and all of her stuff is there all together. . .Then I recycle the ziplock for mugs etc. as needed during the trip. Wet swimsuits and all of that.

I'm sitting here listening to Sorcerer's Radio right now and thinking, in a few short weeks I'll be sobbing my way through the gates of Disney. (I always burst into tears at the gate, lol).

I will, we usually stop in Paducah on the way down it is kind of a short jaunt but then you really feel like you're on the way and the next two days are easier!

We ate at Garden Grill for the first time last trip. It was a very nice meal. Not a must do every trip but we definitely would go back again. I think it's a good choice. You see the Living with the Land attraction from a couple different views.

You are going to stop and see Princess Aurora in France and say Hi for me at some point in the day, correct?

Thanks all I too can't believe that the trip is right around the corner, we were plotting out loading up my mom's van tonight, lol.

I bribed Lily tonight she is going to earn some extra spending money by doing some cleaning.


I want to fill you guys in on what is going on at my house while we are going to be gone. Lily is getting a room makeover. She is almost 9.5 and still has the brilliant pink room and homemade curtains and girly flowers that I lovingly created for her as an infant <sniff> She is decidedly non girly, and hates pink and doesn't really care for flowers, so. . .Grampa and Dad are creating a panda room for her. She loves pandas, I mean loves them. So we have gotten a panda mural for one wall and have picked out a bamboo green color for the walls and a ginormous bamboo plant for the corner and she will get a makeover. I know she will be so excited!

So, the plan for the next couple of weeks is to de-junk her room as much as possible, using the ruse of packing and putting away the really wintery clothes and searching for summery ones for the trip!

Since that is happening we probably will have to move in July, lol.

I live in Illinois and my husband works for the State Police. . .our governor has proposed moving 22 communications centers for the state into 4 by July. The closest one to us would be 75 miles one way but he would be transferred to Chicago, not really where I'd like to live so since we'll have to move, we may as well move to Florida right?

Just found your Pre-TR! I am so happy that you are going back to WDW. You and your Mom and Lily will have such a great time. Oh, and we share a love of old time radio! I'll send you a PM of a place where you can get CDs in MP3 format that you can load onto an IPod. I have bought LOTS of them over the years and love the variety of shows. Sherlock Holmes is one of my favorites too!. I'll send the PM tomorrow.

Sorry to hear what's happening with your husband's work. Personally I love visiting Chicago, but I have no idea what it's like to live there - and Florida does sound pretty appealing!
