Hi there Passporter friends! Welcome to my second PTR/TR!
If you haven’t read my first TR, what are you waiting for? Click on the link in my signature and catch up with the fun.
For those of you who did read my TR, it may come to you as a surprise that I’m writing this PTR. As of last October there wasn’t going to be a 2012 trip, but as you can see things quickly change and for the better…
The best part of this trip is that my kids still don’t know anything. It’s the first time I’ll be pulling off this kind of stunt. Wish me luck! I have planned a very special reveal that I’ll explain later on.
I hope that you and your family have a magical time at the world

Me (Mayra) – Wife, mother and Disney extraordinaire. I love everything Disney. Favorite park is Epcot. Favorite characters are Tinkerbell, Marie, Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, all sassy girls just like me.
DH (Arben) – He loves Disney just as much as me even though he doesn’t admit it. Favorite park is Epcot. Favorite character is Mickey Mouse.
DS AJ – My too cool for everthing oldest son , 12 years old. He loves the Disney parks, not so much the characters (I may have to persuade him for some pictures with them). Favorite park is Magic Kingdom . Favorite character is Goofy.
DS Abniel – My grumpy 8 year old (will be turning 9 on this trip). If you remember from my last trip he’s the kid that always got mad for unexplained reasons . Favorite park is Magic Kingdom. Favorite character is Ferb.
DS Adriel – The baby of the house, he’s 7 years old. I call him my dramatic kid. He can be happy as a clam but has the ability to cry for anything at the drop of a hat. Favorite park is Magic Kingdom. Favorite characters: Mickey Mouse, Jake (from Jake & the Neverland Pirates) and Woody.
When
June 24 – July 3
Where
Port Orleans Riverside
Why
There are two reasons why this trip came to be.
The first and most important is Abniel’s 9th birthday . His birthday is June 25th and although not the ideal time to visit, it’s still manageable if you know how to do it. He’s said time and time again that he wants to someday celebrate his birthday with a breakfast at Chef Mickey’s and a day at Magic Kingdom. So who am I to deny him his wish? Right?
But this celebration trip idea came to me at a very stressful moment. You see, I was going through some situations at home and I was in a very bad mood all the time. The majority of the problems were with my husband Arben. So what does a gal do when she’s cranky and stressed out? Well, think of WDW of course. Specifically, a trip to the most wonderful place on earth.
As a way to get back at Arben, I told him I would be going to WDW in the summer with the boys because I deserved it. Well, a couple of days later he said that we’d all be going. That he wasn’t about to let me go without him. So much for escaping from the hubby , oh well at least we’re going.
So with this idea in mind, I started the planning stages of the trip. I thought it would be an easy process, boy was I wrong…
