So close now! I can't wait to hear about your adventures!
I fear I traumatized the youngest with the hair cut...he won't let any female near him with clippers now...just another excuse to take him to the Irish Barber.
I babysit a little girl - she'll be two in July. She has gorgeous hair...but I have to admitt after three boys - I'm inept with her hair. I'm lucky to get it brushed and clipped off her face after naptime. I actually pretty inept with my uncontrollable mane which is why I usually sport the "mom pony tail". I wore it down, and left it curly last Friday when I helped out in my son's classroom...he actually said "Wow, mom, I didn't recognize you!" after he walked right past me.
It is moving like a freight train now. I'm kinda starting to feel the pressure of all that still needs to get done. Hope you're not too stressed, but I would guess that after planning for 12 last trip this one seems like easy peasy.
Definitely easy peasy! Can't wait to see you two! Are you staying at CBR? I can't remember now.

We'll be back in September! Save the date! September 1-8

Have you started packing yet?
Too funny about your DS. My hair used to be curly - before the boys, but they took a lot out of it. So I just cut it short and straighten it now.
I realized Friday that this trip is coming quick! And I’m running out of time! Since Dylan plays soccer on Saturdays they are mostly shot; his last game is the weekend before we leave. He has another birthday party to attend next Sunday. He has a make-up game on Mother’s Day (I know!) plus I have to work in the nursery at 11am service at church that day as well. And nothing ever gets done during the week with working full time and soccer practice and life in general. What am I going to do as he & Lukas gets older! I really need a housekeeper!
Friday night we went to some friends’ house for pizza and games, which we only played one, Catch Phrase, and it was really fun. Night out with adults sans kids is always good every once in a while.
Saturday we were gone all day. Dylan had a soccer game in the morning, then we had lunch with Mike’s parents and did some shopping. Scored some really good deals on clearance at Old Navy. I mean I got a winter coat for $1.85 originally $99.94! Then headed to a birthday party for a boy on Dylan’s soccer team. It was Jake & the Never land Pirates themed so the boys wore their costumes from MNSSHP last year. We did manage to dodge all the hail (baseball sized in some areas) that our area got that day.
Sunday we stayed home except for dinner at Steak N Shake and Mike going into work for a few hours. I managed to find time to clean the bathrooms and do lots of laundry, but that helped with me actually packing some for the trip!
I have set aside all the shirts we plan to wear that week. I need to get 2 more shirts. An Avengers one for Lukas and a Star Wars one for me. I may get that ‘Queen’ one I posted earlier, but not sure I want to pay $28 for it either. The little boys & I have pj’s set aside as well. So I’m feeling pretty good about things especially since we have the holiday weekend with no plans to do things too.
I like the way Mike put it to me in a email this morning: only 3 more Mondays to get through (besides today).
Darth Vader: He is here. Governor Tarkin: Obi-Wan Kenobi? What makes you think so? Darth Vader: A tremor in the Force. The last time I felt it was in the presence of my old master. Governor Tarkin: Surely he must be dead by now. Darth Vader: Don't underestimate the Force. Governor Tarkin: The Jedi are extinct, their fire has gone out of the universe. You, my friend, are all that's left of their religion.
[answering a comm signal] Governor Tarkin: Yes? Voice over comm: We have an emergency alert in detention block AA-23. Governor Tarkin: The Princess? Put all sections on alert. Darth Vader: Obi-wan *is* here. The Force is with him. Governor Tarkin: If you're right, he must not be allowed to escape. Darth Vader: Escape is not his plan. I must face him, alone.
I just found your TR. Have not been on the boards much, We will also be there 5/27-6/2 and it looks as if we are doing HS the same day; maybe we will run into you down there.
Took DD to 6flags yesterday to see if she has gotten any more brave for this trip and she road almost everything. She is ready for ToT and RnR this year! Last year not so much!
Wow, it is close, especially with your Saturdays (and some Sundays) all accounted for. I often use Mike's way of counting down to a trip... Only 3 more Mondays!
