Sounds great so far, Kelly! I hope Dylan's having fun with the countdown-- good idea to have it serve double-duty for the cruise. Love the photos of your little Jedi's! I think this is the first time I've noticed Lukas standing. In most of the other photos he's in the stroller or being carried.
Dylan has been quite diligent in putting the Mickeys on the countdown. We did forget last night, but tonight they'll each get to do one.
Yes, Lukas wasn't walking yet on his birthday trip and wasn't for a few months after. The boys are late walkers - both at about 16 months, so it hasn't been long that Lukas has been on his own two feet.
Your countdown is adorable! I may have to head to Home Depot for some Mickey Heads..... Love the pic of the boys with their light sabers. My DS has the General Grievous spinning light saber. We fear for our lives sometimes when he's got that out

I just love how you called your countdown "basic" as that's what mine was like. Very clever though with using the back and making it reuseable though.........not so basic there sista
Funny how we were to be going around the May 14th time frame too.........but we switched ours way off, bummer. We'll see you guys before 2015, no worries!!!
Love the light sabres and what the heck was that jibberish at the end of your post???? I guess I need to get moving on some SW movies and info if I want Josie to do the JTA this fall with her older boy cousins
Josie was a late walker too, but Andre started walking a week after his birthday, I was on the playground with him today and I am certain the boy is a beast.........bigger than some 2yr olds he was playing with. Getting a bit scured
We're very excited to meet up with you all, too! I think it is so cool that you're designing this trip around your boys! The countdown is so cute! Your two Jedis in training are adorable!

I will run out of the HD Mickeys. I'm reusing the ones from our last trip that we took out of the treasure chest (I used a Mickey head punch) too. Their lightsabers are designed for the Wii - they just didn't have the remotes in them.

Sorry Linny! I'll have to show you the back side for the cruise - YOU WILL DIE! When I wrote about meeting Melissa I thought you were supposed to be there too but I knew you were going later in the fall and I second guessed myself.
Don't ask me about the gibberish! I googled it and copied & pasted!
Well it's not like your hubby is small! I mean how tall is he? Lukas has kind of evened out. He may have started out huge, but he's about the same size Dylan was at his age - except has a few pounds on him.

With the last trip trying to appease everyone I thought it be time to just let us do whatever we want. Did you know that I hand did those SW letters too? And thanks about my boys!
Great approach for touring the parks! I always say I'm going to take it easy, but somehow the commando in me comes out. This time around, since I'm staying on-site, I plan on taking a more laid back vacation. That is if my little friend (commando Mayra) doesn't appear.
I love Dylan and Lukas' training shot! I think you have two future Jedis there.
Oh, and great countdown calendar. I'm not able to do one this year because my boys don't know anything about the trip. But I'll enjoy the progress in yours.
Cute picture of the boys! Love your count down calendar and I didn't think it was very basic. All we did was a chain that we cut the links off of each day. I like that you are doing a SW quote at the end of your updates. I was quite impressed with your quote and thought "wow, she has that memorized? Or did she find that part in the movie and watch it to remember what it says?" I didn't think about googling it.
Great update Kelly! Love the countdown calendar and the Jedis!
Thanks ladies!

Good Luck keeping your trip a secret!

We've done the chain. I've done trivia on index cards. I made a calendar last year. It's getting harder to come up with new ideas.
My husband could have probably come up with that, but I used google and then copied and pasted.
Love the SW theme!! We are also a SW family and we will be arriving June 2nd for our trip, very excited to take part in another SWW. Great start, looking forward to more!
Very creative. Looks like great fun. Your padiwan (sp?) jedis should keep you very busy. We saw SWW only one time but did not get to spend much time in the park. Missed the parade and most of the events. Extremely crowded.
