Ok so let me start out with an apology. I did a PTR for my last trip and completely slacked on the actual TR. Now I could blame being pregnant and giving birth to my daughter as the reason but truthfully my pants would be on fire. Lol. So to help apologize for that I will submit a picture of my distraction, she also happens to be the star of this PTR.
See how can anyone be expected to sit at a computer for too long with her? Right now her daddy is holding her so that is the reason I can be on here.
So let me back up and do a bit of explination after the cute factor interuption. The story really starts with my DH and I.
I was born a disney fanatic. Or at least it was created early in life. When I was a child I would actually walk around with the VHS of Cinderella and would request it put in at any house I was at. Here is a picture of me from our very last trip. I was pregnant so technically Noelle is in the picture too!
As for my DH I converted him. I know I have mentioned in previous PTR and TR that we went to WDW for our honeymoon. It was my 4th trip to the world but my DH first. While the monorail pulled up to MK on the very first day he turned to me and said "We have to come back". An addict was born! Here is a picture of both of us from our last trip. With a little tinkerbell magic,
On our second trip together my DH and I kept looking more and more at DVC. While on our honeymoon my disney struck DH was fondly wishing that we join. I was the voice of reason (which for Disney related things is rare, and it certainly was not that way while I was still living with my parents). I told him we had to buy a house before we ever considered DVC. I had just graduated nursing school and did not even have my license yet. We simply could not do it. Fast forward to September 2010........and we were both bit by the DVC bug. HARD. Lol.
We took the tour, looked at the numbers. Tried to talk ourselves out of it several times then finally looked at one another and said - who are we kidding. Yes lets do it! We only have 160 points and since we both work full time that is fine for us. We got a sign on bonus of extra points and so far have been banking every year. Eventually we will do a big family trip and end up borrowing but for now this number works for us.
Now for a little background on my angel. My DH and I tried for over 2 years to become pregnant. We ended up doing several rounds of infertility treatments. I had 3 miscarriages and a surgery before we finally got a sticky BFP. It was actually on the way down to Disney that we got the confirmed BFP. We arranged for our ultra sound appointment with the reproductive endocrinologist to be scheduled so we could hit it while driving down to Disney. We figured it would be a nice cushion if it turned out not to be our time. However that trip ended up being one of celebration as we were confirmed soon to be parents! The joy of being pregnant after so much let down simply cannot be described. I very much hope anyone going through IF uses me as an example of it can happen. I want this joy for everyone, it is simply intoxicating.
So we ended up going one more time to Disney while pregnant after that trip (our babymoon I think they call it). It was good to eat a lot and not care but I definitely was bummed not to be able to ride some of my favorite rides (the mountains for example). Being DVC owners we knew as we left that last time that we would be back, and hopefully soon!
Ok so now that I have had many side stories back to the introduction of my daughter. (I feel the back story was needed, don't you? Well maybe not. It is ok if you do not agree with my rambling) My daughter Noelle was born December 17th, 2011. She came out at 2:51pm already full of spit fire. She is adorable (although I might be biased). She already is a talker and she does so love to kick anyone close enough. When we go she will be about 9 months. I know she is too young to get the Disney joy but as other parents probably can agree with me, the trip will be more for us. She is just the cuteness along for the ride! And here is another picture of said cuteness- dreaming of Disney of course!
Now having our daughter we knew that we would want a 1 bedroom. The idea of a kitchen and more important a washer and dryer was simply too good to pass up. But three people (well two and a baby) in a one bedroom seemed like such a waste of space. What could we do to fill the space? Why invite more people of course! Originially we asked my sister, BIL and niece. However they decided financially they could not swing it this year since they are expecting their second child in April. So I turned over some thoughts in my mind. And then it hit my. Why my best friend of course!
A little background here. When we were in high school our favorite thing to do was drive around. We lived in the middle of no where (nearest mall 30+ minutes away) and so it was fun to just drive for no reason. And of course while we did that what played in the car stereo? Disney of course! We definitely should have taken our act on the road. So I asked my BF if she would like to join us. I was prepared for her to turn us down. Not everyone wants to travel and share a room with a 9 month old. Especially since she is a free single lady. However she nearly jumped through the phone with a resounding yes! I was excited to say the least. Here is a picture of us at my wedding.
So the people have been chosen! Let the party begin. Of course I have yet to tell you where the party will have its home base. Or when we will be invading WDW (you know as a warning to others, lol).
The pics of Noelle are absolutely adorable. I thinks she would look great in a little Belle dress. I'm just sayin'.
And what a little miracle she is after the tough times you and your husband went through before. Congratulations on your beautiful family. Enjoy the planning!

Tee hee I will definitely try my hardest to find one. I was thinking of what she could be for halloween and Belle is definitely in the running.
She is definitely a miracle. I thank God every day that we were finally able to have her.
So exciting! Your daughter is ADORABLE and it will be lots of fun for her even if she won't remember it... Disney is so different with a baby, it really makes you slow down and enjoy the little things! We just took our 15 month old for the first time, and it was nothing like our previous trips... I actually liked it more though! Can't wait to hear more about your trip!

I cannot wait to take her. I did get some practice slowing down since I was pregnant the last two times. However I still think it will be so different and I am ready for it!

Thanks, she really is an angel. I believe she was sent to us specifically. That is why we had to wait so long.

Noelle is beautiful! And I know the joy of miracle babies. Mine happened differently but she's 21 now.
Yay for more miracle babies! I believe my best friend went many MANY years ago when she was very small. I do not think she remembers much of it. So this will be almost like her first trip. Well I am making it so since I ordered her a first trip button, lol.
