Today was online check in day.. I went in & saw they had already checked off ground floor as I requested when I made the ressies ( due to Jim's neuropathy) but I couldn't make any other requests.. I tried to request blds 50's, no luck.. told me I had to call WDW.. tried to request bldgs 70's then 80's.. same thing.. so I simply checked "close to transportation" again "We can't fulfill your request blah blah blah call WDW"

I was a little angry at first but then realized the old saying "you catch more flies with sugar than vinegar" (My Mom said this all the time but her version was a little saucier)

I called a little later in the afternoon & at first got a confusing experience .. I'm not sure if Disneys call center people work from home but this gal sure sounded like she was.. you could hear her moving around & the phone kept cutting out & she kept apologizing to me.. (it was on her end)

finally we got a good connection & I explained to her that I couldn't add a 2nd request.. She informed me that all buildings except 80's & 90's were preferred & close to transportation was also preferred rooms & you pay extra for them HUH???? since when??? I know some rooms in those buildings are preferred but all?? I kept my sugar voice & explained that Jim has neuropathy & I would just like to not have the 90's buildings anything else was fine. If she could just note that..

She was so sweet... she said most people are so specific on what room building they want & I was so nice then proceeded to tell me she's going to request a room in the 60's, 70's or 50's for us.. because " there are non preferred rooms in those buildings" she said she couldn't guarantee a specific building but we definitely would have ground floor. .. that was fine with me!

She asked if I had any other request & I said no but wanted to verify that all rooms now had fridges & she assured me they did..

That's all I did Disney wise today..

I can't believe tomorrow is SINGLE DIGITS!!!! woo hoo!!

for those of you who aren't familiar with my trip reports.. Sjonasgirl1122 is my own irrepressible daughter, Shelby who I'm sure you guys will hear a lot from during my actual trip report. She added her input to my last trip report & you guys seemed to love hearing her take on our Disney adventure, some of you even offered to adopt her (so when ya coming to get her?)

She's pretty!! I was thinking if you didn't want your son to carry too much money..how about a gift card? We do that with Katie when she travels.
