I'm so glad it has started. I would absolutely love to spend a day by myself strolling through the country pavilions. Sounds like a great start to the trip.

I REALLY think in 2013, we need a (grown-up) girls-only weekend to WDW, and do a Friday to Monday thing. That would be so fun, and if we all cram into a value, heck, I'd be ok with that!
But I guess we should finish this TR first, eh? LOL! Then any ladies reading this can decide if we're worth traveling with!
I'm glad you've started! What a great first day just meandering...as much as I LOVED enjoying WDW for the first time with my kids, I would LOVE a day of doing whatever I wanted whenever I wanted!
Can't wait to hear more as each attendee chimes in with their arrival!

Great intro and first day! There's just nothing better than going slowly around WS, stopping to shop, look and listen. What a great way to celebrate being at WDW solo. Can't wait till the rest of the party shows up!
Now that sounds like a perfect way to spend a day!
Jill
I enjoyed the pure leisure of it and being all about me. No autographs, no kid cots no Kim Possible. ME...ME...ME!!!! Love all those things but sometimes It's All About ME!

It was a good day. I have to admit I enjoyed it but it was still missing something or maybe someone. I would definitely do it again but it was different.

It has started it...and just in case you want to say anything to a certain person who left while I was still sleeping at AS Music that it is their turn to pick up where I have left off...

Well even if they don't take you up on the offer...if the funds are there I am all for it. I would bunk in a Value...just as long as it's not the floor. I could make a pallet in the bathtub if need be.

It was definitely nice and peaceful with an easy going pace.
Speaking of chiming in it....it is someone else's turn to chime.

It was so relaxing. If I wasn't solo and had to get myself back to the room I might have had a few more for the road.

Yikes, signing on as I didn't notice you started! Guess I thought it was all staying in the PTR thread. Duh, no longer pre, is it? Will have to catch up in the morning - struggling to stay awake now!
