I never thought I'd really want one but then after reading several TR's about them I thought Shelby & I would love to do that. Shelby at first was kinda indifferent but then she thought it was cool & she did get a unique pearl out of it.
There are tons of cages on Ebay much cheaper than at the pearl stand.
FYI.. I find it funny that I'm on my computer & Shelby is on the kids computer giving her thoughts at the same time & No, Shelby I still have to upload pics before I add the end of Monday
I love the key to the castle cage! My youngest DD has the Cinderella coach one. If I were better at uploading photos, I'd share it here. Need my kids to come home from college to upload for me! Thanks for sharing yours!
We had a small nap & then decided to go over & look at the Art of Animation construction.. grabbed our refillable mugs & we were off.. I took several pictures of the buildings
love the sketch pad look..
We went over the bridge as far as we could until it was blocked off..
Shelby had to get a picture by the 1990's the decade she was born
Headed back toward the food court to get a drink & Shelby said she was hungry but I reminded her of our meal that evening at Planet Hollywood so she figured she'd just get some cheese fries to tide her over until our meal.
On the way we stopped to take pictures of the cool stuff at POP.
No, this is not a 'cool stuff' this is Shelby being her silly self
We were staying in the Big Wheels building so we had to get a pic of that
Shelby is telling everyone NO.. no climbing
Of course a stay at POP wouldn't be complete without a pic with the Mickey phone
or playing foosball
Then Shelby had to do some posing by the mustang
Again, another picture by the 90's icon.. ( too bad I cut out most of the 90)
Shelby went to order her french fries ( that they are a snack option on the DDP) while Jim got all of us refills.
I went into to lobby to look at all of the shadow boxes
of course I had to get a photo of the Star Wars case for Jamie
& the Disney one
When I returned it was time for the CM's to do the hustle .. now I've stayed at POP 3 times & I've never seen the CM's do the hustle so it was a treat..
Shelby was equally enthralled & kept asking me if it was a flash mob... Jim on the other hand kept teasing me & asking me if I wanted to go up & join since the hustle was my 'era' song/dance.. (I was tempted.
Shelby has a video of the Hustle that I'm sure she'll post once she reads my update.
We headed back to our room & started to get ready .. our ADR for Planet Hollywood was at 9:15 but we figured we'd do a little more shopping at DTD.. Shelby has been wanting a straw fedora & that was her mission to buy one tonight..
Just found your trip report and I must say that I love it. I can't wait to read more!
I'm glad that I'm not the only one that gets those kind of looks from her family. My DH and DS are always doing that on a regular basis. They say that I'm inpatient. LOL!!
I also can't wait to read about your Planet Hollywood experience.

Sounds like a nice relaxing time at the resort. So many fun places to pose We've never stayed at POP, but would like to take Kyle there someday and stay in the Rubik's Cube area. (He can solve it in less than a minute - his record is 22 seconds!)

That's the one thing I like about POP so many photo ops.. I love the buildings designs & icons on each railing not to mention the larger icons to pose with ..
We stayed in the Rubiks Cube area.. in the 80's building & I wasn't crazy about it as it seemed too far away from everything..
I think POP is probably my favorite value as it has it's own bus so no sharing like with All Stars..
