I'd love to do a split stay sometime, but with 4 kids, it would just be too much work! We stayed one night at BLT in a MK view room with the monorails going in and out...I didn't want to leave!

Love following the resorts saga....and really love that we will be joining you at the AKL. I love the warmth and uniqueness of the resort. So glad you decided on the final night at BLT....you will love strolling back to the room from the MK!

At first I was a bit upset that the wait list did not come through, but now I am kind of excited to test out BLT. I have read some not so great reviews, and some wonderful ones so I will be happy to test it out for myself (at least for a night )

We do as well, the girls fell in love with it the first time we went there for dinner at Boma and it was definitely on their wish list so when we bought in, for me there was no decision as to what our home resort was going to be, I am definitely happy with our choice.

I am looking forward to trying out BLT, I can totally understand the split stay thing, while I do enjoy trying a different resort sometimes the idea of packing, unpacking, repacking...does take a bit of the fun out. Last year we actually packed a seperate bag so it was pretty easy taking the stuff we already used and putting it in one bag so we did not have to unpack everything.

Tickets, AP, PH....so many choices so what did we decide?

I had my AP from last year and I totally forgot to renew in February (like the reminder e-mail and postcard wasn't enough of a reminder). I knew I had to do it, just never got around to it and when I did say "oh I have to renew" it was well past the grace period

So I went through all the options, just buying an AP for me (as I knew I would be heading back in November for a conference, plus I am sure another trip will come up between now and next year), just buying tickets for this trip, and if I did would we want PHs, I knew we wanted the WP option as the girls love the water parks.

Then I decided to check out the YES program to see what was available during our stay. The availability was not showing yet so I made a note to check back in a few weeks to see if there was a program Angel would enjoy, figured it would be something special for her to do and it would be a great savings.

Finally our dates opened up and they had a Wild by Nature course that was right up Angel's alley, she loves animals and Jasmine and Angel are all into animal conservation stuff so I ordered two tickets, figuring I would still purchase my AP. I went back and forth on the 8 day or 10 day, finally going with the 8 day as it would give us two days to enjoy the WPs or just enjoy some downtime.

Jasmine was going to accompany her so with two 8-Day PH with WP option we were set. About a month ago Angel mentioned she really would like me to accompany her, this way Jasmine could have some "me time" at the pool taking sun (such a thoughtful sister ). So I e-mailed the program and explained the situation. Recieved an e-mail a day after from a wonderful CM who explained he was out of the office, but to call him on Monday and he would take care of adding an extra ticket onto my order.

Monday made the call and within 10 minutes I was printing out a new confirmation with three YES 8 Day Park Hoppers with Water Park options. $620.00 for the three tickets, quite a nice savings, plus Angel is super excited about her program.

I am glad you got your room situation all worked out! Sounds like you found a solution that makes every one happy. I can't wait to hear about the YES program, I just learned about it this year and it sounds very interesting. Great savings on the tickets, too!

I'm happy you guys got AKL and also club lever too! I hope you make the Sunrise Safari, that looks so amazing. I'm with Jasmine on the CR too. However we have said if we were just doing a small trip we would try it out.
The YES tickets are a great savings, and a very cool experience.
Things are falling into place now.
