OK mini crisis solved.I found a thermos that is the perfect size. It doesn't hold soup very well, which it was designed for,but it will do great for the insulin.
Now the question of doing laundry at OKW is a given. So time to re-do the clothing list. Feels good to cut the amount in half actually. I like less stuff to worry about.
65 days till Dday. Talked my Son into taking us to the airport. All it costs us is some of Coops famous meat-pies,and maybe some Chicken and dumplings.

I can take you to the airport for chicken and dumplings!!!
The packing needs certainly change when going from driving to flying. I always say that flying is an excuse for me to do more shopping while I am there!
Congrats on the great deal on airfare! I'll be praying for you during your take off, too!
Thanks Cam! I'll take all the prayers I can get!

Check all the articles about DME and the buses- it's pretty much what sold my husband on Disney. Not the "magic", go figure. It will be different though, especially if you're used to having your own transpo.
(BTW, I've been flying since I was a baby, and I still pray before takeoff every time!)
Even when we drive, we just park the car and take Disney buses. The only time we "used" the car last time was to put stuff in it that we wouldn't need - like dirty laundry.

Add another order of Chicken and Dumplings! I was going to pack a hoodie but I think if we NEED one in Sept - I will buy a new one!
All caught up. I get nervous flying, but only because I am claustrophobic. I can't imagine experiencing something like that. Kudos to you for flying anyway. I'm sure you'll be great! Send me a text before you have to turn off your phone, and I'll pray for your takeoff too!

Ooo, may I please put in an order for meat pies AND chicken and dumplings, please? I'll gladly take you to the airport several times for that!
Sure! As long as I'm making. . .
Actually, I once brought my chicken and dumplings to a staff meeting potluck and after that I had people who wanted me to make some for them. I ended up bringing 8 quarts for people at work after that! Now, if I make it, I have people with a "standing order" (along with my chocolate chip cookies )
Of all the things that Coop makes that are awesome(you can always tell how good a woman cooks by how fat her husband is!) meat pies, chicken and dumplings, and chocolate chip cookies are the best! We can't go to any function without one of them, and if we don't we hear about it. One of the couples at the Guild got married, and Coop got bugged several times about not bringing chocolate chip cookies,TO A WEDDING!!!
2 months to go,and time for final shoe selection(for breaking in purposes) and gather up all the silly things,so we don't have to search for them frantically the night before we leave. Things like laundry bag,ice cube trays, medication containers, pin collecting kit, pressed penny stuff(still searching for that) and making sure the camera and cards are all working and ready to be packed.
Still need to get special locks for the check-in bags, unmentionables for Coop(oops I guess I shouldn't mention them if they are unmentionable...) and making sure I have enough relaxing music for the trip down and back. Maybe an adapter for dual headphones?

Oh boy, I didn't know chocolate chip cookies were on offer, too!
The only time I've tried chicken and dumplings that I remember well is at Knott's Berry Farm. I know I had it another time, but for the life of me I can't remember when or where that was! Anyhow, being born and raised in Southern California, I don't know how "authentic" the Knott's recipe is, but I know I like it. I once had a secretary who was raised in the South. She took me to a soul food place for lunch one time, and it was awesome! I wish I had asked her about chicken and dumplings back then! Still, I want to try Tracy's!!!

I've sort of lost track of the timeline here...the last time you and Coop were talking about new shoes, was that before or after your last trip? Are those the shoes you're bringing for this trip, or are you planning on breaking in more new ones?
I love how organized you guys are. I love how technology is sort of taking over our travel plans. I figure the next time I do a "real" vacation with the kids, I'll be carrying about 20 pounds of electronic equipment to keep them amused!

Were thinking of trying Chacos shoes. We tried on the sandals, loved the fit,had a custom pair made for each of us. We love them so much(sandals) that we plan on wearing them most of the time at WDW. We also need a pair for the "nicer" places we have ADRs for. Mostly Narcossees,Citricos, and Yachtsmans. I feel better if I dress a little nicer for those places. It just plain feels good to me to dress nice for dinner. I also just got a new pair of $100 running shoes due to the Lions switching to Adidas, a gift from one of my Docs.
Funny thing is we actually drive the people we work with NUTS because Coop and I always have a new/different pair of shoes almost every week. That and new bags all the time and,for me,glasses, our co-workers are always saying something.
