You must be wondering what that title means so here goes. In September 2011 my husband hurt his back at work. At first we thought it would go away with physical therapy and some rest. Well after months of therapy and multiple tests they concluded that he had broken his L-5 and S-1 vertebrae. So now he will be having surgery in September. We picked September because that was the only time my parents could come to help us with the kids while he is recovering and I am working.
Carla- me 28 (This will be my 9th trip)
Eddie- DH 36 (This will be his 9th trip)
Leilani- DD 6 (This will be her 8th trip)
Logan- DS 2 (This will be his 3rd trip)
We are all Disney fanatics. My DH is on just about all the Disney boards out there. You might know him as Eddiecvs on here. He does all the research and then we decide how to plan the trips. For the past 2 weeks my DS thinks that when we go out together that we are leaving for Disney. My DD was just able to go on all the rides on our last trip so all she talks about now is which rides she will do more than once.
Dates:
August 8th - August 20th
We are staying at All Star Music standard room
Why those dates well it started last year.
We went last year for 11 nights 12 days. So we ended up getting the annual pass. While we where there there was a hurricane here in NJ, so flights where cancelled. When we were waiting for our flight they announced if anyone would like to give their seats up for people who were stranded. In return they gave us flight vouchers, hotel stay for 1 night and food vouchers. We left the following day.
So now we had the flight paid for and park tickets. All we had to pay for was the resort and food. Our annual passes expire on August 19th so we had to plan our trip before it expired. So that is how the dates came about.
This trip we are not doing a dining plan. We will pay for our dining out of pocket and use the Tables in Wonderland card for discounts.
August 8th- We arrive at All Star Music around 7:30pm. Tonight we have a reservation for the dessert party at Magic Kingdom. After the fireworks we will return to the resort.
August 9th- Today there is EMH in the morning at the Magic Kingdom. So early morning for us. Today all we have planned is the tea party for DD at 2pm and then we have a reservation for dinner at the Crystal Palace at 5pm.
August 10th- There is EMH in the morning at Epcot and evening at Magic Kingdom. So we will spend most of the day in Epcot and the evening at Magic Kingdom. This day we have no reservations so we will eat counter service meals I'm thinking Sunshine Seasons for lunch. We will choose dinner where we are at the time.
August 11th- EMH in the morning at Hollywood Studios today so an early start for us. Today we will spend the whole day there. We have reservations at Hollywood and Vine for breakfast and dinner. Lunch is undecided.
August 12th- Today we are not going to the parks early. There is EMH in the evening at Magic Kingdom. There are no reservations today so all day is up for debate. Magic Kingdom has a lot to choose from so I'm sure we will find something.
August 13th- As you can see we go to the parks according to the EMH. So today Animal Kingdom in the morning with a reservation at Tusker House. Then the rest of the day we will eat when we are hungry. We will go to Hollywood Studios later that day.
August 14th- Today we will be going to Epcot but there are no reservations so the whole day we will play it by ear.
August 15th- Today is an early day at Animal Kingdom then Hollywood Studios at night. There are no reservations today as well so who knows where we will eat.
August 16th- We have reservations at O'hana this morning and then dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table. This is a Magic Kingdom day. Lunch will be when we get hungry.
August 17th- We will be spending the morning and most of the afternoon in Epcot and the evening at Magic Kingdom. Lunch will be when we get hungry. We have dinner reservations at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.
August 18th- We have an early morning at Hollywood Studios but no reservations so we will be up for anything.
August 19th- We have an early reservation at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and dinner at 1900 Park Fare. Up for anything for lunch. Since we are so close to Magic Kingdom we will go there all day today.
August 20th- We leave late in the evening today. But our annual passes are expired on this day so today will be a day by the pool and food from the food court.
