My solo not so solo back to solo trip ?
Here i go with another happy TR after i said i would not do this again

Dates - 11-28 to 12-4
Resort Saratoga Springs (DVC)
Travelers ME Jeff
Celebrating my 45th birthday and my first time doing MVMCP Oh and did i mention SOLO!!!
So here goes the reason i say solo not so solo , is because my brother was suppose to come with me but he just moved and might not be able to come now . I'm not losing any sleep if he does not . and i know you guys are going to ask the million dollar ?? is how did i get permission from my wife to go ? she came up to me one day and said there is a scrapbook meet in vagas so my mind hit over drive I said no problem on your solo trip with a tiny condition i can go to disney for my birthday and the wife went for it
so here goes i was lucky when the flights for Jet blue were released i got rt for 159.00. and i got a 6am departure from JFK in NY and i arrive in MCO just after 9am then i will head to right now it is Advantage rent a car on property got a great rate for 117.00 with a discount for a large car more room yeah ! after that it of to that magical road that leads to Walt Disney World , I will head to Saratoga to see if i can get lucky to check in early fingers crossed if not since i know im going to be a bit tired from the flight but the adrolin will be at high so i think i will head to DTD with a lunch meet with other disney friends . then maybe a nice dip in a pool and relax and then get ready for dinner it is still up in the air what im doing either on or off property . but here is a list of places off property i want to hit
steak N shake , Giordanos the best pizza anywhere , i know you guys might think im crazy but i want to go to Golden coral ,
Im not on the dining plan but i do want to eat somewhere special for dinner on my birthday which im also doing MVMCP that night so this ansawer will come later .
I would start to go into a day to day thing , but im solo / With magical friends so im playing everything by ear or as i say Commando . I will post things that i add as i go a long so hop on the Magical Express of my solo not so solo trip

I will add one meal that im doing is my birthday breakfest will be compliments of Denny's free Grand slam on your birthday
i would rather save a bean or two for my Birthday dinner that is deffinetly on property
i have to see who else off property offers a free meal for birthdays for lunch ?

we went to K-Mart yesterday and i picked up a 2 peice 20" carry on suitcase and a tote i was going to buy a good one but decided to but the 19.99 one .

Now I'm of needing suggestion from anyone what should i do ?
Im a DVC member and im thinking of the dining plan ?
REG dining plan one TS one CS one snack and free cup ? $50.54 a day 309.00 for trip
CS dining 35.00 a day 210.00 for trip
or should i just stick with going off property here and there to eat i will have a car .
the reason i started to think i should do this is if i have a big birthday meal and it runs me about 70.00 for one meal then i should shoot for the stars, is what i think ? what do you guys think ?? neeed feed back please

I would probably go with the dining plan. In the long run going off property and gas for the car, it will probably all add up in the end.

If you stick w/ eating offsite, you can sign up on the Ruby Tuesday website. Unless they have changed it, you get a coupon for a free burger for your birthday that is good for like 2 weeks, so you don't have to use it on your actual birthday if you don' want.
