Great start! You really have an amazing view! With a view like that I'd be out in my balcony all day. I agree with you on the CS option for kids, there's no variety.
Now on to the important matter, when are you going to show us a picture of your new look? I'm anxious to see it. I'm all for short hair, planning on cutting mine for the holidays.
Great start, and what a great view from your room!! Hope we get to see a pic of your new 'do in the next update Sometimes that first chop off going long to short takes a while to get used to, but I'm glad you love it now!
The flight attendant asked me if Hope was a lap baby or if she was supposed to have a seat. Well, look at her lady. She weighs 39 pounds and is a little over 40 inches tall…what do you think? So of course I told her she’s a lap baby. Just kidding… wanted to make sure you were all awake. No, I told her the truth, and she then proceeds to tell me that she must remain in her seat with her seat belt on for her safety. Having done this before, I was going to put her back in her seat after I got her to sleep, but the flight attendant was preventing her from even shutting her eyes, so that obviously wasn’t going to happen. So when I told her what I was trying to do, she was adamant about me following the rules, and tells me that’s why they make car seats, and that’s when I wanted to respond with, “Well, I would never even think about doing this in a moving vehicle, but if you’re going by the car seat rule, then why isn’t it a policy that all children under a certain weight limit must have a seat on a plane, no matter what the age”? Oh, we’re not in a car you say? That’s right, we’re on a plane, so don’t use analogies that really don’t work. Plus, the seat belt sign was off!
I put her in her seat and had her lay down with her head in my lap. Soon enough she passed out, and I shortly followed. Later, when I woke up, mom told me that the witchy flight attendant came back around while we were sleeping, and sort of strained her neck over the seats to see if Hope was buckled in or not. My mom almost looked up at her and said, “She’s got her seat belt on. Do you need anything else”? But she didn’t. Looking back on this I found it funny that I had two other flight attendants come over while I was trying to get Hope to sleep while holding her, and all they said to me was how precious she was. Nothing else about her not being in her seat, and that could have been because the seat belt sign had been turned off.
FULL ON laughing out loud with this whole statement!!! Go on girl!!!!
Still waiting on the hair photo, but at last, tomorrow night my wait will be over!!!
8lbs of make up had me dying too. EVERY time I pack to go anywhere, I'm always like YEAH, I did good, tons of room.....oh wait......here come the glam squad tools.

Glad to see that you have started your TR. What a great view at AKV. The one time we stayed there we had a savanna view & I agree that it is so neat to have the giraffes (among other animals) right outside your room
Great start! What a rude flight attendant! I mean, most of them know that it isn't always easy flying with children but unless you are doing something extremely bad like letting the child sit in the isle (as I have seen before), then really what are you hurting! I think you should have said, she's a lap child, just big for her age, just to see the stupid look on her face!!
Sorry the dining plan isn't starting out so well, hope it gets better! We felt the same way when we first used it, we were clueless!

Great start to your trip - although a little sleepy. Well except for the flight attendant. I don't understand what the big deal was. Just until the kid falls asleep. Don't you think they'd rather the child be asleep than overly tired and acting up. Geez.
