| Sharon\'s Trip Report Day #1 June 15th - Friday. We left Panama City around 4:30 am and had no problem with traffic or anything going down. It was a good trip. Got to WDW around 11:30 (12:30 eastern time). Checked into FW and got the loop that I wanted-Loop 900. I had a free night from last year (we had a severe ant problem in our 800 loop last year, so they gave me a free 1 night stay). Well, everything was suppose to be all ready when we checked in to get a refund (because I had already paid for the whole stay through the DC). Well, after telling the check-in person what was going on and showing her the letter that states I would get a free night...she got on the phone with someone and finally when she got off said I could have the refund when I checking OUT. I said NO.....I'm suppose to get it now. So another phone call and she gave me the refund. AAHH! Our campsite was wonderful. It was a big site right next to the basketball/tether ball courts. About the time we were going to eat dinner (I had brought some Publix chicken and potatoe salad as our first night dinner so I wouldn't have to cook). Then 1 of the many afternoon thunderstorms came up. Didn't last long...about an hour. Then we were off the campfire singalong & movie. Kayla & I left after the singalong because we were tired and knew that tomorrow we would be going to Universal Studios for the day. So...we hit the hay. |
