Sharon\'s Trip Report - Day #10

Sunday – June 24th – Day #10

Our last day here. Whah! We had free tickets to the Disney Sports Complex, so we decided to go and check it out. Since Chris plays soccer, we thought we would go and check out the fields and see if there were any soccer games going on. Chris gets stuff from the DSC all the time for soccer. We just never make it down there for it. Plus wouldn’t you know it….tomorrow (Monday the day we leave) there are all kinds of soccer stuff going on.

Anyway…it was big and we were impressed…but nothing really going on. They had a college-wrestling match going on….but that was it. Oh course, as soon as we left the complex…there was another thunderstorm…lol! We decided to eat at McD’s since we were right there.

Went swimming, bike riding, went to the petting zoo & just were pretty much lazy all day.

For dinner, we went back to Bob Evans (again…we love eating there, because we don’t have one here). When we got back, we rode our bikes down to the Trails End and sat on the porch rocking in the rocking chairs watching the people get off the boat from MK. Man…they all look so tired and worn out…I can relate…lol. We were also watching everyone getting ready for the Hoop Dee Doo Review too.

We met a very nice gentleman on the porch. He was handicapped and had a hard time walking and had to use special crutches. We had a very nice conversation with him and come to find out…he is a Disney Fanatic like me….and he is also a teacher. He teaches World history in High school. We talked for a couple of hours and then he had to go to the HDD for the 9:30 dinner. I have to say….it was most enjoyable talking with him. Very, very nice!

Well, we had already packed several things away for our trip home. We went back to the camper and headed to bed.

Our vacation is over. And what a vacation it was! I love Disney! We won’t be back for a couple of years though. We usually go every summer….but we have decided that next summer, we are going to TN & down to Atlanta to Stone Mountain to camp. (so if anyone has any good suggestions for me for TN (such as Gatlinburg…Pigion Forge & most of all Stone Mountain)….please feel free to email me or send me sites for any of these places).

Thanks for reading my reports. I have enjoyed reliving my vacation through writing them!!!
