ZIPPA DEE DOO DA DAY!!!!(sp?) WE\'RE BACK AND WANT TO GO AGAIN!!! Hi everyone, After 70 fantastic days of planning, shopping, reading, etc.,our wonderful trip is over, and, yes, I have the "bug". I so want to go back. I was depressed for a week until I decided that, Yes, we CAN go back! So now we're thinking maybe Feb. or Nov,02. I don't think we want to endure the heat of July again. Other than the heat, our trip was beautiful. Thanks to my tour books (passporter included,of course) and all the great info I got on these Disney discussion boards. The 1 heads up I would like to share is for National Car Rentals. The National people at the airport and on the phone will tell you to return your car at the Swan (if you're planning on returning the car at Disney). However that is inaccurate!! You must return the car at the Dolphin! We discovered this after much frustration and running around. It all turned out o.k. though and we ended up taking a limo back to our resort (all star movies), as it cost the same as taking a cab, 16$. So hope this info helps someone avoid all the extra running around we did. Now I understand why so many people want to go back, and back, and back. Because it really is a wonderful place. P.S. I brought 16 rolls of film for myself and 2 cameras for my daughter thinking that would be plenty. I bought 16 more rolls at the parks, which really wasn't too bad of a deal because you got a free disposable camera with each 4 rolls. It cost $222.00 to get that developed at Kmart!!. But I'm having a great time putting our photo album together!!

Re: ZIPPA DEE DOO DA DAY!!!!(sp?) WE\'RE BACK AND WANT TO GO AGAIN!!! OH MY GOD!!!! 32 rolls of film!?!?! I thought I tended to take tons of photos, but you've got me beat by a long, long way! Do you scrapbook, too? Our November trip will be our first since I got involved with doing scrapbooks. It's nuts, but I'm already planning photos to take, so I can lay out certain pages! I'm planning on bringing 10 rolls of film and two cameras -- one "point and shoot" and the other my trusty "do everything yourself" Nikon. Your photo developing bill reminds me I'd better set some money aside for that, for when we get home!

Re: ZIPPA DEE DOO DA DAY!!!!(sp?) WE\'RE BACK AND WANT TO GO AGAIN!!! Wow! I've never taken more than 6 rolls. That will be one heck of a photo album. Too bad about your getting hooked on WDW. It got me too about 6.5 years ago. I have not found a cure, nor have I looked for one. Welcome to the board. [ 08-11-2001: Message edited by: Disnydad ]

Re: ZIPPA DEE DOO DA DAY!!!!(sp?) WE\'RE BACK AND WANT TO GO AGAIN!!! Sorry Nadine, my reply about the National car rental was to you instead of Liz.. But to Liz and Disneydad a bit of an explanation about the 32 rolls of film. I have not been to WDW since 1989, and this is our 9 year old daughter's FIRST trip, so as you can imagine, I took her photo with EVERY character, cute shrub, statue, fountain, etc. You get the picture. Of course I also had to get quite alot of photos of all the different types of architecture, and several rolls alone were devoted to the parades and the castle from many different angles throughout the park. This is my first attempt at scrapbooking, and I'm loving every minute of it. I just hope others will enjoy it as much as I do. You see I have a somewhat dry sense of humor, and I've used it extensively with speech bubbles and what not!! Life is good!! Lisa

Re: ZIPPA DEE DOO DA DAY!!!!(sp?) WE\'RE BACK AND WANT TO GO AGAIN!!! Hi Liz, Well, we only rented a car the first two days of our stay, and returning right there in disney was much more convenient than going all the way back to the airport. The car choices were many.. We just went with the most inexpensive which was a 4-door cavalier, the car and everything else was fine. Hope this helps, Lisa

Re: ZIPPA DEE DOO DA DAY!!!!(sp?) WE\'RE BACK AND WANT TO GO AGAIN!!! You can NEVER have too many rolls of photos (although I don't think I've ever gone as far as 32 rolls). I usually go for about 8 and often I wish I did more. Want to get every second of vacation on film for the memories.

Re: ZIPPA DEE DOO DA DAY!!!!(sp?) WE\'RE BACK AND WANT TO GO AGAIN!!! You said a mouthful, Beth. My DH and I went to Disney World for our honeymoon in 1989. I'd been several times before; he'd never been. We decided not to take a camera and so I have NO photos from that trip. You would be surprised how memories fade over time, without photos to prompt them. I don't intend to make that mistake again!
