Fractured Fairy Tale-Day 2(8/27)- I Forgot the Best Part!!

I hit the "submit" button while I was making revisions, and I left out the best part!
We went to the place along the parade route that "Belle" directed us to.The afternoon parade was a true sensory experience, the music, the scenery, how lovely!Along came the "Beauty and the Beast" float, and there was that very special, beautiful, Belle. The float stopped in front of us, she leaned over and beckoned "Princess Pamela",by name to come out into the parade. Of course, we were wiping away the tears and trying to video all at the same time! The float stayed there for a bit, and then pulled away, with Belle blowing a kiss to Pam.
This memory brings tears to my eyes even now. Our very sophisticated daughter, who would turn 10 that week, was given the gift of wonder and magic that could only come from the Magic Kingdom.....
Pam had marked all of the places in the parks where a "Belle" would appear, but she told me that she "didn't want to see any of the others, because this one was the 'real' Belle". What a special and beautiful lady Belle was.... I wish that I could thank her.

I admit it. I'm crying. I am so glad your daughter got to experience the magic. As you can probably tell, I am also a fan! Sounds like a great trip so far. We love the WL and while I'm sorry about the room mix-up I'm glad it sounds like you enjoyed it anyway!

More, more, we want more!

I am truly a sap, here I sitting crying my eyes out at your beautiful moment.

I am so happy for your daughter, she will never forget her trip or that day. Your memeory even convinced my Grumpy(otherwise known as DH) to take the video camera this time. He absoutely refused to take it last year so we have no video of our DD first trip to Disney.

Thanks for sharing.

That is what Disney is all about. Those special moments. I think we can all understand how you were feeling when Belle and Pam made the magical connection!

My eyes are filled with tears and I have goosebumps...
That moment was a moment of a lifetime and a memory she will always treasure....
Only Disney can do that for a child; we should all have an experience lihe that at least once

What a magical experiance for Pam to have (and her parents too). I'm sure this will be one of those magical moments that will stay with her the rest of her life. I can't wait to be able to share the adventure through my 9 yo DS eyes. Great trip report Stonewall, looking forward to hearing more!!
