| stop me biting my nails I have promised DD I will write a trip report for her, and although my heart is not really in it, I though I would start because whilst I'm here I am watching CNN and have been for 48 hours and I have virtually no nails left. I have NEVER been a nail biter! I don't know what is happening, but the general feelings here at the moment are that we are feeling worse as the days go on. We can just not believe it. I feel terrible personally because of the friends I have on boards like these, and also cos we were there this time last week. Keeping you all in our thoughts, God bless you all.Paula |

| Re: stop me biting my nails Ah, but you see, we all need the uplift from the trip reports! Especially nice to read one from our friends overseas and of course, a new perspective. I can't wait for your next installment. Once you are bored with news, come back and keep on going. This is going to be a great trip report, I can tell. Don't feel guilty for writing about the good times, they are what make it all worthwhile. p.s. I have loved watching the BBC on our congressional cable channel (cspan) and on PBS our public broadcasting channel. BBC and CBC (Canadian television) have restored my faith in intelligent & balanced news broadcasts! (Of course I watch CNN & others.. just thought you'd enjoy hearing that.) |
