Lazin\' On The River 2

As we were flowing along, a woman who was just getting out let out such a yell, we
wondered what could possibly be wrong. Turns out it was a snake! A little black one.
Well, it wasn’t that little!

Brittany wanted to have a play in the kiddies area, so off we trot. There were a lot of
“big” kids here. Parents, I mean, having a great time, so Steve promptly got stuck in!
We stayed here for ages, and I began to feel my right arm burning. A quick pitstop to
put some more high factor on us all, and we were off again to the wave pool. Steve
was really peeved because all through the planning, the main ride he expressed a wish
to go on was Summit Plummit. However, the queue was ridiculously long, so as he
won’t queue at the best of times, he said he wasn’t going to stand in that heat. I felt
sorry for him, but a least his bum won’t be hurting!!

My arm was realling burning now, and it was getting really uncomfortable. I don’t
mean burning from the sun, as such. I suffer from photosensitivity, and come out with
big lumps, like heat lumps but bigger, and do they itch? Do they ever. I had no lumps,
yet, but knew it was only a matter of time, and I was on tablets.Typical.

After resting for a while and trying to keep my arm covered, we hit some more slides,
and we decided we had done enough for one day. We left about 3:00pm. We decided
to keep out of the sun as much as possible for the rest of the day, so after perusing
EVERY shop near enough on the 192, it was dinner time. Brittany loves the all you
can eat places, so we went to Las Vegas Buffet. I have never tried sushi, and this was
my main objective here. (I always make a point of eating something new whenever
we go on holiday). I wish I’d thought of something else, like alligator, or ostrich (no
offence)because the sushi was hanging. Yak! I felt like a kid, you know when you’re
having liver or something and you’re chewing it and chewing it and you can’t get it
down! Shan’t be eating that again! Anyway, the service haere was very good, but the
food was somewhat lacking. We are not big fans of smoked food, so that doesn’t help,
I suppose. Not to worry, the fruit bar more than made up for it, and you can’t
complain at the price: $36, including all that wonderful coffee! We all left pretty
much stuffed and Steve said he fancied having a look round Old Town. We enjoyed it
here, and we spent ages just looking round the shops. Brittany bought some awful
gooey stuff that you make yourself, I can imagine that it makes a mess. Soon it was
time to be heading back.
Well, we arrived back at the hotel and there was a horrible whiff in the room, a bit
like cat pee, but we didn’t know what it was, so after a quick squirt of perfume it was
off to bed at 11:30pm. Our feet are beginning to feel the strain, and my arm is
beginning to feel ever so slightly bumpy. Oh no!
