Re: Pooh and the crew do Disney.. Day 5: Sharing a Dream Come True Since all the nosy questions regarding your love life have been asked (thank you Ursunique ), I'll ask about the interview... Is it possible that you'll be joining the cast member ranks along with Goofy Will? And when Goofy stops being Goofy in Jan, can we still refer to him as Goofy Will? I'm dying to hear the rest! Super report.

Pooh and the crew do Disney.. Day 5: Sharing a Dream Come True B] The Pooh Patrol Pooh(Theresa) 26 Eeyore(PawPaw) 59 Rabbit(Gammaw) 55 Tigger(Connor) 3 1/2 Piglet(Christopher) 2 1/2 Goofy(Will) 26 And introducing Daisy(Marcy, my birthmother) 45 Day 5: Friday, September 21, 2001... Sharing a Dream Come True Debut and Pooh and Goofys Wild Adventure! Let me first begin by appologizing for the delay in this installment of the trip report... I had a special friend in from out of town this weekend and then had a quick trip out of town myself late Sunday until Wednsday to interview for a new job. So anyway... back to the report... I woke up around 7:15 and everyone else was still asleep. I snuck in and took a shower and get dressed before waking up the rest of the crew... they had all bathed the night before so getting dressed took no time. My birthmother(I am adopted and found my bmom in August of 2000) was suppose to be meeting us at the Waffle House in Kissimee at 9 AM. So we loaded the van and off we went. We arrived about 10 minutes early and she was already there. We grabbed breakfast and gabbed about the ongoings of the week and she gave me my birthday present($100 disney dollars... WOOHOO). As I was paying the cashier my cell phone rang... it was Goofy Will... he had to work until 6 pm for the debut of the parade and was just calling to say good morning We agreed that we would meet later that evening back at my resort. We said goodbye to Marcy's friend(Rose) and we all loaded into my van to head for Downtown Disney to use our last flex feature... a Mickey N You Photo. We had no problem finding a parking spot and headed directly to get the picture done. No line... no wait... walked right in... we had decided to just let it be a picture of the boys with Mickey... and it came out GREAT! After which we headed over to Legoland so the boys could check it out. Grandma Marcy bought them each a playset and off we went. We were heading for the Christmas shop when we spotted the "choo choo" train. The boys HAD to ride it since trains are their favorite thing. Since there was no other children around the lady let them ride up front and be the engineers... they LOVED it. After they had been around about 6 times she asked them if they wanted to get off and they told her "no"... LOL... she turned around and said "if you guys want to do some quick shopping I will let them continue to ride and one of you can stay here" ... you don't have to tell us 3 women to shop twice!!! PawPaw stayed with the boys and we headed for the Christmas shop. I am a HUGE Christmas fan and ended up buying a new piece for my village and several ornaments. Then it was over to the 2 R's. ** Thank you thank you thank you to whomever it was on the board that suggested this shop for scrapbooking supplies... it was perfect!!! ** They had put all of the 4 Parks 1 World Scrapbooks on clearance since the 100 Years Scrapbook had come out. I got the scrapbook set(which is usually $25.00) for $7.00!!!! As well as a set of Pooh die cut sticker cut outs and a set of Mickey die cut sticker cut outs, regularly $3.00 for $.50 a piece... and a roll of 200 scrapbooking Disney Vacation stickers regularly $6.00 for $3.00!!!! Needless to say I hit the jackpot!!! I also picked up a photo album on clearance for $5.00(down from $22.00) and a coffee table book on Disney Animation(regularly $45.00) for $9.99! WOOHOO!!!! We decided to head back over to pick up the boys and PawPaw. We got them and headed over to the Pooh shop but decided to stop at the "open air" toy store first. We let the boys pick out two things... and much to the delight of my pocket book, they decided on 2 Peter Pan swords ($1.95 each) and two laser guns($4.95 each). We then headed over to Pooh where I bought a new backpack... a robe... a desk set... and a tea kettle. On the way out we had to stop at the "Hundred Acre Wood Log" for a couple of kodak moments. The boys on the log... MommaPooh on the log... the whole crew on the log... it was priceless! We decided it was time for lunch and to get ready to head over to the MK. So we piled back in the van and headed to the McDonalds down by our resort.

Re: Pooh and the crew do Disney.. Day 5: Sharing a Dream Come True Part Two We grabbed some lunch and headed back to the hotel to stock up on film and the extra camcorder battery. We got it all and headed out for the MK. A quick monorail ride and we were at the gates. Marcy had not been to the world in 6 years so she was in for a real treat. She was diagnosed with M.S. in 94 and her legs aren't very strong, and since she had left her wheelchair back at Rose's we stopped to rent one. It was then off to Country Bear Jamboree(Marcy's favorite). After that we decided to go grab our bench there in Liberty Square for the parade and let PawPaw take Connor over to "plash ountain". Marcy and I decided to take Christopher over for a quick run to the "pooky house"(AKA Haunted Mansion). We got back to the bench around 2:00. We sat there with Mickey Bars and Diet Cokes and gabbed... it was great to have both of my moms with me! About 2:30 this little Hillbilly Brothers and Bob band came and sang a few songs right in front of us... by then PawPaw and Connor were back and they were annoucing the grand marshalls of the parade(one of them being the creator of the parade himself!). Then we hear Julie Andrews over the load speakers and the parade starts! When I say I stood in Liberty Square bawling my eyes out... I looked like a babbling idiot! The park had been so empty all week and even on Friday, the day of the debut, it was still a pretty thin crowd. The most amazing thing, besides the parade itself, was the cast members lined up all around the park to watch the debut themselves and the Disney execs gathered along Main Street as we were going out(we followed the parade after it had completely passed in front of us) everyone had a "lip on the floor" look. Totally magical! We staked out our "spot" about 2 hours prior to the start of the parade.... we chose a bench across from Liberty Tavern... perfect viewing area, and the floats stop right there to "share the magic" as they did with the previous parade. The snowglobes are incredible(I will add a link to the pictures we took as soon as I get them developed and loaded tomorrow). During the parade there are animators riding little 3 wheeled old timer bikes and as they ride they are drawing different things.... one stopped in front of my boys and ripped the sheet off and handed it to my youngest son.... there on the page was a hand drawn sketch of the mouse himself... and what a great sketch it was... needless to say I took it away from him and it will be going in the scrapbook... or a matted frame, I haven't decided which one yet. Anyway... I am getting off subject here... back to the parade... It lasts about the same length of time as the "Magic Moments" parade, but the music and the floats are breathtaking... my personal favorite being the 3 globed "love story" float with Cinderella/Prince Charming, The Beast/Belle, and Little Mermaid/Erik... the Fairy Godmother rides on the front of the float. During this portion of the parade, when it stopped in front of us, one of the beautiful "belle-like" dancers in the big ballgowns came up and took my youngest son by the hand and led him around the float dancing with him... he just gazed up at her with that gorgeous two and 1/2 year old wonder and grinned ear to ear the entire time, while I stood there with video camera in hand and tears in my eyes. Goofy comes by with all the other characters and disappears inside the float and comes back with three roses and a note and hands them to me... kisses me on the cheek and then acts bashful and high fives the boys and off he goes continuing with the parade. I hated to miss seeing any of the parade but had to know what the note said! I opened the little card and it read, A rose for the most incredible woman I have ever met and one for each of the women who brought her into the world. I handed a rose to each mom and then showed them the note... we all cried.

Re: Pooh and the crew do Disney.. Day 5: Sharing a Dream Come True Part Three We decided to change the boys into their swimsuits and head down to the pool to relax. Marcy had brought her bathing suit and all the adults of the party changed into theirs as well. Down to the pool we went(with cellphone in hand). We grabbed some drinks and relaxed in the lounge chairs as the boys played in the kiddie pool. At about 5:45 the phone rang... it was Will... he was on his way over... I told him we were at the pool and he said he would meet us down there. (Needless to say I was a nervous wreck... me in a bathing suit is enough to scare off anyone.... LOL). About 20 minutes later someone snuck up behind me and put their hands over my eyes... I knew instantly it was him since everyone else was within my sight until that point. I grabbed his hands and pulled them off and he leaned over and gave me a smooch He came over and sat at the end of the lounge chair and chit chatted for a while with me and the folks. When Connor spotted him he squealed... Will took his shirt off and even though he was in Tommy Hilfiger khaki shorts, he kicked off his sandals, told me " you stay here and enjoy your moms and I will play" and went over and sat down in beside the kiddie pool and played with the boys. They were having a blast and he seemed to be enjoying it as much as they were. He would turn around and give me a big smile. About 20 minutes later we started hearing some thunder and they decided to close the pool so we all headed back to the room. We all got changed and decided to head into Kissimee for dinner at TGI Fridays... Will joined us... Marcy called Rose and she and her husband joined us as well. We waited about 10 minutes for a table... we sat and ate and drank and chatted... it was a blast! After 2 hours we decided it was time to leave before they kicked us out and the boys were getting tired. We said goodbye to Marcy and told her we would see her Oct 12 in GA for my brother's graduation from Boot Camp... and we loaded the boys back in the van. Will asked what was on the agenda and I told him we were going to bath the boys and put them to bed... mom spoke up and said that if he and I wanted to do something that she and dad would handle the tucking in... after asking if she was sure and she laughing and saying yes go have fun you deserve it... Will and I climbed in his car. He asked if we could stop by his house to make sure his sister hadn't called(she was due to be in town late that night or early Saturday).... he has an awesome place in Celebration! He said he decided last year that he was going to settle in that area and paying rent was a waste of time so he looked for a house. He had been saving his money to buy a house... or to have a good down payment... and he found this house and had to have it... it's awesome! At this point I am wondering is this guy for real??? LOL.. I am looking for pictures of his wife and children that he his hiding somewhere. He checks the answering machine and there is a message from his sister, Becky, saying that she should be in around 2 and she, and I quote, "Can't wait to meet this woman you told me about"... he is blushing and says that they had talked on his cell phone earlier in the day and he had told her about me. He proceeded to show me his Disney collection(which is scattered throughtout the house... interior design with a mouse... I love it!!!) We sat on the couch, had a glass of wine and chit chatted. When he put a Jim Brickman CD on I knew I was in love... no man I know has ever listened to Jim Brickman nor knows who he is!!!! We sat there for a couple of hours talking and looking at photo albums. It started getting late and I knew if I didn't get back to the resort soon my parents would worry so we decided to call it a night. Still being a perfect gentleman Will took me back "home". As we walked up to the room he told me he would see me first thing in the morning and with a kiss, he was gone. Coming Soon... Day 6: The Epcot Adventure... Becky Arrives... and SpectroMagic!

Re: Pooh and the crew do Disney.. Day 5: Sharing a Dream Come True I don't get it? Goofy Will trips over his own feet because he can't see the curb but he is quick enough to see that you don't have a wedding ring on? I'm guessing he asked the CM to check out your finger. He's one sly devil. Best of luck and I really enjoy your postings.
