Saturday-7-7-01 Last Day!

I hate to even write this last report, but the good news is that we're going back in just 5 weeks! That's another story though!

We woke up about 7:00 to pack the car and hit the road. We were making one of our many trips to the car with lots of luggage, when I saw a little boy with his family going to the bus stop. He must have been about 3 years old. He asked me if I would like to go with him to the Magic Kingdom. I told him I had to go home, but I sure wish I could go! He said,"After you're done going home, would you come with me to Magic Kingdom?" I thought that was the sweetest thing I'd heard all week! I teach at a daycare center, so it made me miss my babies even more!

We had one last breakfast at the food court and said goodbye to our beautiful resort. It's so hard to say goodbye! We were so silly-we told the resort goodbye, the bus stop bye, etc.

Not much on the trip home. We ate lunch at McDonalds on the way and by 4:30, we were back in Duluth! As good as it is to get home, we thought we wouldn't be back for at least a couple of years. Leave it to my DH to check out rates and now we're heading back in 5 short weeks! We've got the Swan for $90 a night. We'll only stay for 3 nights, but it's better than nothing!

I had to tease you a little with the idea that we wouldn't be back for a while! We only decided this a few weeks ago.

Thanks for sharing your trip with us. What a fantastic surprise to be able to return in November. Do the kids know they are going back? I hope you'll share that report with us as well.

Yes, the kids know. I couldn't stand to keep it in! As soon as I had told them, I wished I hadn't.

In one of your earlier segments you were explaining you wouldn't be back for a long time, and lo and behold, the last segment says back in 5 weeks! Very exciting. We'll be waiting to hear all about the Swan and your adventures in November. Thanks for the report! -HiddenMickey
