water parks

I was wondering if anyone has gone to Wet and Wild and will give me a comparision to Blizzard beach the only other water park we've been to, since the pass for universal includes it, and we'll only be at orlando a week, soooo I was thinking I could save money by not buying the bonus days flex pass for d.w. Thanks!

Re: water parks

Hi, deal hunter! Welcome to the PassPorter boards!

Unfortunately, I don't have an answer to your question, but I think you might get a better response if you post this question in the Touring The 'World': The Parks forum.

We hope you'll stick around for awhile!

Re: water parks

deal hunter,

YES!! Go to Wet and Wild. We go every year and LOVE it!! Although it doesn't have the themeing of a Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, it is awesome! They have great slides, a great kid's area and what really made a hit with my family was the knee skiing. In the back of the park is a lake that they have set up with a pully system, a small dock-like walk way around the perimeter (to walk back in case of falling) and bouys to try to aim through. You basically knee ski around this lake by use of said pully system, hopefully making it through the bouys until the red ones at the end at which time you let go. They provide the knee boards, life jackets and helmets and it doesn't cost any extra for it. We all did it over and over again. It even prompted us to get a knee board for our boat, which was far harder to start and get up on than it was getting pulled of the dock.

By all means, go! You'll have a blast!
