Re: 5/29 - 6/8/02 Comfort Inn LBV Master Matt\'s Disney Adventure (and his mom went too!)

Ursula, I loved reading your report! It sounds like you guys had a once in a lifetime vacation! I really felt like I was there with you.

Matthew sounds like he has the same tastes as my 3 kids, because their favorites eats are: Cracker Barrel & IHOP!

I have laughed and laughed at your adventures, especially when Matthew was helping the kids at the ToT, telling them what to expect!

Also, thanks for all the info on your hotel. I think you got a great deal! And you got to do so much more with the money you saved on your room.

And your pictures were great too! Especially the hoop de do!

Thanks again!

What a wonderful trip report!!! Thank you sooo much for sharing!

Our Magical Disney Adventure is in just 28 days (27 days, 22 hours, and 41 minutes until we leave for the plane, to be exact!!)

I'm going to do a trip report, also, but hope it will be atleast half as good as yours was!

Thanks again!

Ursula, I loved your trip report, but, since I am new to these boards, I have a few questions. First, who is Howie, and second, what is the breakfast board.

I just returned from WDW on Friday. Reading your report makes me want to return sooner than my planned trip in December. Maybe I will post a trip report of my own then.

Re: 5/29 - 6/8/02 Comfort Inn LBV Master Matt\'s Disney Adventure (and his mom went too!)

Thanks for the nice comments. I never mind answering questions, hopefully I'll do a good job of it.

Howie is a very nice man, whom I've never met, that helped me secure a PS for Cinderella's royal table. Months before it was time for me to start calling to secure the PS I read on one of the posts about him and his site and started visiting it. I asked for help and was put on a list (first come first serve). They do not guarantee that they will get you one, but they try to help you just in case you are not able to get your own PS. I am very thankful that I asked for help because by the time I got through it was already sold out. It was the equivelant of me asking all my friends and family to help secure me one with the premise that at least one of us would get through.
The web site address is:

http://www.readersclubhouse.com./bre...akfastset.html

While on the site someone came up with the idea of sending postcards back to children from "the world." So I posted on this site and on the breakfast club site a note that if the parent emailed me with the childs name, address and favorite character I would send postcards to the children. I think I had about 16 kids altogether.
It was a nice treat to know that I put a smile on someone elses child.

I also got the idea of the CM appreciation cards from this site and the CM's loved it, when I remembered to put them in the backpack.

I hope this explains who Howie and the breakfast club are.

Updated my title to the new format.

You know I still have about 4 or 5 rolls of film that need to be developed. I guess I should get that done soon so I can add the last few pictures to my trip report.

Re: 5/29 - 6/8/02 Comfort Inn LBV Master Matt\'s Disney Adventure (and his mom went too!)

I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed reading your TR. I've been reading various posts that you've written, so when I stumbled upon your report I was excited to read it, and I was not disappointed. The pics of you and your son are great. Lord willing, we (DH, DD &DS) will be leaving for Orlando in 24 days! I'm hoping to have as interesting report is you did. Thanks for sharing.

Note of encouragement: My DH was not much for taking vacations, but last year I told him the kids and I were going to do a Calif trip (SF, Monterey & Anaheim - can't leave out Disney ). I explained we wanted him to go, but if not we were going anyway. Well, he decided to go and now he's HOOKED on vacationing. Start w/baby-steps. Do a weekend and then work up to the WEEK LONG trips. Maybe the timeshare will be a good investment. For me being a family of 4 it's great. More space!! Thanks again for sharing your report.
