Hello all! This is a pre-event report about 90 days in advance of the wedding and trip. Let me start this off by asking -- Do you guys want to hear about the wedding? I now this is a Disney Board and I don't want to take away from the focus.

The Honeymoon Pre-Trip Report:

Cast of Characters:
Me (Amanda)age 22: Wanted to honeymoon in the Caribbean but gave in to Df's desire to go to WDW. Now I am offically a WDW nut!

Brian age 24: Dear Fiance soon to be Dear Husband - Has wanted to work in animation since birth. Huge Disney fan!

Accomodations: After an endless debate of staying off-property/on-property we finally decided to say ON PROPERTY! Whoo Hooo! At first all I thought we could afford was the All Stars, which in my DF's opinion would have been great (he is a HUGE Disney Fan) but I wasn't all to thrilled at the possibility. We started looking into the Moderates and decided we needed to join the Disney Club [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] With that we were offered 2 hotel rates. The Caribbean Resortfor $113 a night OR the Wilderness Lodge for $129 a night. We decided on the Caribbean Resort. Now before you all start screaming at me for passing up such a great deal on the Wilderness Lodge [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] let me explain. I REALLY WANTED TO GO ON A CARIBBEAN CRUISE FOR OUR HONEYMOON. DF REALLY WANTED TO GO TO DISNEY WORLD. We figured with CBR we get a little of both worlds and everyone is happy [img]graemlins/love.gif[/img] So, we will be at the CBR for the length of our stay.

Tickets:
First night we don't have any passes so we will be resort hopping and seeing Downtown disney.

Rest of the week we have Park Hopper Passes! But we will only be going to the Big 4 parks. DF and I are not water park fans.

Pre-Trip Itinerary:
Monday: Our flight leaves St. Louis at 7:30 am (What was I thinking?!?! [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] )
Arrive: check in CBR - hit the pool for a Pina Coloda and some relaxing. Resort Hop, DTD, and 7:30PM PS for California Grill to watch the Sunset. Go back to the room and "Do a Little Dance, Make A Little Love, Get Down Tonight!" Sorry, I got carried away there!

Tuesday
Hopefully PS for 8:00AM @ Tony's so we can get into MK early!
All morning and early afternoon in MK
Back to room to rest a bit.
Back to MK for parade (if showing)
In the evening Epcot with PS for Le Celliers.

WED.
Epcot Future World and World Showcase all day with a break in the afternoon.

7pm PS for Rose and Crowne and hopefully great seats for Illuminations.

Thurs.
MGM! With afternoon PS for 50's Prime Time cafe

Fri.
Animal Kingdom in the morning and early afternoon.
Beaches and Cream for lunch and look around Beach Club.
Cirque Du Soleil @ 9pm

Sat.
Free day! Go back and do something we missed!

Sunday.
Check out and go home [img]graemlins/cry2.gif[/img]

I would love to hear about your wedding, too! We did our honeymoon at Carribean Beach Resort, too. It was great. That was in 1988, and CBR was not even finished being built. Only a couple of sections were open, but it was so cool.

Count me in too on wanting to hear the pre-wedding & wedding story.. It's been a long time since we've had a good romance here on the boards..
Speaking of our last romance on the board... Has anyone heard from Mamapooh or Goofywil?? I would love to know how they are doing & what is happening with their wedding plans... Does anyone know? I'm sure they're both busy with plans & moving etc but it's been such a while since we've heard from them... Anyone know what's up with them? Hope all is well with them both! Amanda, where exactly do you live? There seems to be so many people here from St. Louis. I say St. Louis because no one would know where Cedar Hill is. (It's about 30 miles from St. Louis)
