Re: WDW fun in the rain with my family Sunday June 16 - We had our wake up call for 5:30 so we could easily make the PS for a character breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:15. We get on the bus around 7:30 and find out it will also be stopping at the Poly and Contemporary for their character breakfasts. The bus is pretty full but it is less crowded after the stop at the Poly and then on to Magic Kingdom. We arrive a few minutes before 8:00 and they are beginning to check people in who have a PS before the park will open. They had our name, time and confiration number so we checked in with no problem. It was sprinkling a little as we entered the park but as we got a little farther down Main Street the downpour began. We had rented a stroller and all of our stuff was stored, including our ponchos so we just made a run for it. The Crystal Palace character breakfast was wonderful. Evan was afraid of the characters so we put him on the inside. We had waffles, fruit, breakfast lasagne and breakfast pizza. The characters at this breakfast are from Winnie the Pooh so Pooh, Tigger and Eeorye came around to the table while we were eating. Piglet was running late so we went to him after we finished. The characters were great with Alyssa and took plenty of time at the table. They knew Evan was scared and so they left him alone except for a wave or a thumbs up. He was fine with that. We had a great breakfast and we were ready to go right when the park opened for the day. Tim and Alyssa ran over to do Space Mountain and Evan and I went to Winnine the Pooh. Tigger was there riding the ride the first few times through. Evan was thrilled to get to ride right behind Tigger. Evan and Alyssa ended up with fast passes for Space Mountain because it was being repaired but then we all rode Pooh together. The rain had stopped for now so we went to Buzz Lightyear. Alyssa and I tied but Tim was the top player this morning. We went easy on him since it was father's day. It was starting to rain again so we went to Carousel of Progress. It was open from 9:00am -6:00pm that day. I was thrilled to be able to take my kids to see this show because it was closed last year when we were there. It has a lot of nostalgia value for me because of the many childhood trips I took with my parents and grandparents. My kids really liked it! They wanted to do it again but I knew we needed to keep moving. Tim and Alyssa used their fast passes on Space and Evan and I took the Tommorrowland Transit Authority. He loved this last year and liked it agian this year. Evan and I went to Peter Pan while Alyssa and Tim went to do Big Thunder and Splash Mountains. Peter Pan had a 45 minute wait and it had long lines the whole week we were there. While we were in line it started to pour! Alyssa and Tim hadn't had to wait at all for Big Thunder so they were on Splash Mountain when the rain got really heavy. They got to do the ride and it was an adventure they talked about the rest of the trip. In the meantime, Evan and I rode Peter Pan and Small World. When we met up with Tim and Alyssa they were soaked but laughing. I had the ponchos in the backpack with me. We took the bus back to the resort to dry off and rest. I think we all fell asleep except Evan. The crowd seemed to be really down at MK that morning. The only line all day was for Peter Pan and Tim and Alyssa rode all the Mountains before noon. We drove over to MGM about 5:00 and walked onto the Great Movie Ride. We didn't do this last year and we enjoyed it as a family this year. Evan and I went to Little Mermaid and Tim and Alyssa rode Tower of Terror and Rock-n-Roller Coaster. Their picture was so funny we had to buy it. It was Alyssa's first inverted coaster so it was a good souvenir. We all went to Millionaire together. Two teenage boys ended up in the hot seat. They were not exactly thrilled to be there. They were very nervous and looked like they wanted to sink into the floor. I was sitting right next to the first one's father. The dad was sooo excited but the poor teen-age boy was even more embarassed by his Dad's enthusiasum. It was really funny to watch. Tim did great but I got a few questions wrong. Last year I was in the top 10 but not this time! After Millionarie we went over to see Fantasmic. It had continued to rain some but now we were wearing our ponchos instead of carrying them in our backpacks. We had never seen Fantasmic and I was keeping my fingers crossed that the rain would stop so we could see the show. We found a seat and Alyssa and I went to get something to eat. We got chips and cookies and we bought a little lunchbox for Evan with a drink, cookies, crackers and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in it. The crowd continued to come in even though the rain had picked up. They kept making announcements that the show might be canceled or postponed but that HUGE seating area was full. All those people sitting there in the rain with their ponchos on and the mood was very festive. We had the little light spinners and people all over were spinning them. Evan fell asleep and the people sitting behind us were joking with us that they hoped the explosions and fireworks wouldn't wake him. We were all doing the wave and dancing in the rain to the music. It was really a good place to experience the magic of Disney. Where else could you gather this many tired people in the rain and come up with a happy, festive crowd who didn't even know if the show they were waiting for would happen? But guess what? The show did happen, right on time because the rain rolled out just in time. And what a show it was! Evan woke up right as it started. We really enjoyed it. If you haven't seen it Mickey is having a dream and you get to see lots of the characters and then he starts having a nightmare and many of the Disney villians star in this part. Of course in the end, Mickey turns it back into a good dream. The fireworks, lasers, music and special effects were just fabulous. When it was over, we followed the crowd out of the park and drove back to Port Orleans. We were glad that we had our own car that night and that we were not fighting with the crowd to get back on the bus. It had been a Magical day and we couldn't wait to go to Epcot tomorrow. Tommorrow: They call this the Sunshine State?

Re: WDW fun in the rain with my family Thanks for your words of encouragement to continue with the trip report. I have loads of laundry to do but my dryer isn't working well so while I wait for the next load to dry I will continue. Monday June 17- The forecast is for lots of rain again today but we aren't worried because we are going to Epcot and we know that it is the best park to tour in the rain since there is so much to do inside. We slept a little later since we had a late night from Fantasmic the night before. We pack our ponchos and decide to drive our car to the park. By the way, the ponchos we are using are from a little theme park in Indiana that we love to go to every year. They are orange so we stand out from the crowd in their yellow WDW ponchos. We have had these ponchos for 5 years and they have a few ripped spots so we decide to invest in some new ones or wear our rain coats after today. We arrived at Epcot around 10:00. We don't encounter any crowds as we go through security or the entrance. We decide to do Universe of Energy because we didn't get there last year and we haven't seen it since Ellen was in the show. I always thought her t.v. show was funny so I was looking forward to seeing this attraction. She was very good and it was a big improvement over the old attraction. Next, we walked over to the Wonders of Life building. We all play with some of the exhibits. The kids like to catch the bubbles that are drifting down. They must be those new catch a bubble because they can actually catch them without popping. Tim and Alyssa ride Body Wars while Evan and I continue to play. There is no waiting and we are really wondering where everyone is. We have never seen Epcot this empty. We eat lunch in the Wonders of Life building where we can get chicken quesidillas and share. We find that we can get 3 meals and share, even from the fast food places. We walked over to Ice Station Cool to get samples of different flavors of Coke. Everyone except me tasted Beverly and they made awful faces. We also got 4 fast passes for Test Track. It had a one hour wait and the sky didn't look like it would hold out. After lunch, we have time to go to the Imagination building and ride the new version, which we all enjoy. The scent room is fun and the end of the ride is very nice. I always loved Figment and I'm glad he's back. We play with some of the exhibits in the imagination room. Alyssa loves conducting the kites and the music and they both love the slow motion video. They get in and jump around for about 10 seconds and then it plays back what they did in slow motion. It is really funny. Next, we go to Honey I Shrunk The Audience. I love this movie but Evan takes off his 3-D glasses at the beginning and never puts them back on. A child who is at least 7 behind us keeps needing reassurance from his mom that it's just a movie. The 3-D effects are so neat. The mouse part gets me every time. When we leave the movie it is raining very hard. We have to walk to where we parked the stroller and then we go to The Land for our Ice Cream Social at Garden Grill. We watch the Food Rocks show and then go up to check in for our 3:00 PS at Garden Grill for the Ice Cream Social. We had never been to the Garden Grill but it is a slowly rotating restaurant that shows different scenes from The Land boat ride. The booths are U shaped and you kind of feel like you are the only ones there. We didn't get seated until about 3:20 and I was a little disappointed with that because our Fast passes for Test Track were 3:10-4:10. We put Evan on the inside of the booth since he was afraid of the characters. The waiter came and he knew we were there for the Ice Cream Social so he brought our drinks and then brought our huge ice cream treats. The kids had a big cookie with a scoop of ice cream with the cone on top turned upside down like a hat. The adults had a huge ice cream scoop on a cookie and a waffle cone. We all had sprinkles and gummy worms. Pluto came by first and started interacting with Evan and he responded. He gave him five and sat on Tim's lap for a picture. After that he was excited to see all the characters. He could hardly eat because he was busy watching to see who would come by next. Mickey and Chip and Dale came by the table. It was $6.75 for each of us. I really appreciated this opportunity for the kids to interact with the characters for such a small price compared to the character meals. The waiter didn't seem too thrilled to have us there, maybe because he didn't think he would get a big tip since we were just there for ice cream? But we were prepared to tip like a meal because we had such a great experience with the characters. We have always had good experiences with the CM's so maybe we just caught him on an off day. We left in time for Test Track but it was still raining so they said we could use the Fast Pass for anytime for the rest of the day. We walked over to Mexico and rode the boat ride and then we went to Norway and did the boat ride there. One of the CM's from Norway came over and sang us a Norweigian folk song to cheer us up on such a rainy day. She was very sweet and she gave us a little extra magic. After Norway, we went to the show at the American Adventure. I hadn't seen it in years and I wanted Alyssa to get to see it. She enjoyed it and so did I. The rain had stopped so we saw The Tapestry of Dreams parade. Then we headed back to Test Track. They were just opening and Evan didn't want to ride so Alyssa and I got in the Fast Pass Line. We went through the building and all the pre show and just as we were preparing to board it started raining again and they shut the ride down! This is the first time the rain started to get us down. They gave us a special Fast Pass that we can use any time in the future so we will just have to try it next time. Last, we all rode Spaceship Earth and then we headed for the car in a torrential downpour. We were certainly thankful for our ponchos! We ate supper at our food court. We had planned to go to Islands of Adventure tomorrow but the forecast was for rain all day. We had never been to IOA so we didn't know what was outside and what was inside so we decided to go back to MGM and Magic Kingdom. We were all happy with that. Evan insisted he wanted to hear the wake up call and asked Tim to put the phone to his ear so Mickey sould wake him up in the morning. He's a pretty sound sleeper but Tim said he would. Tommorrow: Evan's first big ride and two Dole Whips please!

Re: WDW fun in the rain with my family Ah, still raining? Just looked at the forecast for next week, and looks like we're in for much of the same. Sounds like you had a great time at Epcot anyway, and loved hearing about the Ice Cream Social! Keep it coming!

Re: WDW fun in the rain with my family Tuesday June 18: Tim tried to let Evan hear the wake up call but he slept right through it. we were off to MGM. We rode the bus this morning. Our first stop was Star Tours. Evan decided he could try it so we all rode together. It was so fun to experience it with him. He giggled and laughed all the way through. Next, we played at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground. I went to the fast food place next door and got drinks and while I was there it started to ... you guessed it - RAIN! It didn't last long so we had a drink and ate a snack. Evan and I went to the Playhouse Disney Show and Alyssa and Tim went for Fast Passes for their new favorite-Rock-n Roller Coaster. For the Playhouse Disney show you sit on the floor. We were in line about 15 minutes before it was scheduled to start. We were overflowing the queue area so CM's started to extend the area with ropes and the stampede was a little scary. This is a show aimed at preschoolers and the parents were just pushing their way to the front. I spoke up nicely that we had been waiting in line and was given some sarcastic remarks but the little group that was with me in line got back in our spot. Evan loved the interactive nature of the show. The kids participate by dancing, clapping and singing along with the characters they recognize from the Diney channel. He had a ball. It's all so real for him. While we were in this show Tim and Alyssa went to Sounds Dangerous. Alyssa's headphones weren't working so Tim gave his to her and he just sat there in the dark and relaxed. We all went to Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular and then Evan and I went back to the hotel and Alyssa and Tim went for their Fast Pass time on R and R Coaster and then they joined us at the food court at Port Orleans. In the morning we had been eating in our room. We brought cereal, poptarts and muffins and we go to the food court with our refillable mugs for coffee and hot chocolate so the only thing we buy for breakfast is milk. We rested for the afternoon and then at 5:00 went to Magic Kingdom on the bus. Our first attraction was riding the train to Frontierland and then we walked back to Pirates of the Carribean. After the ride we got two of our absolute favorites -DOLE WHIPS. We enjoyed these even in the rain as we headed for Fantasyland. Evan hadn't been able to ride Dumbo yet and that was next on our list. I have never been on Dumbo at night and it was beautiful looking at all the lights at the park and seeing a different perspective on the castle. We also rode Aladin's Magic Carpets twice before Dumbo. Then,Alyssa hadn't been on Small World yet this trip so we rode that for her. The parade was getting ready to start so we were hoping Mickey's Toon Town would be deserted and it was. Tim and Alyssa rode Goofy's Barnstormer two times in a row while Evan played at the little playground. We went through Mickey and Minnie's houses and Mickey was still in the Judges tent so we got a family picture with Mickey with no waiting!! I really hope it turns our well since we were pretty soggy from the rain. We made it out of the park before the fireworks were over so we didn't have any problems getting back to PO on the bus. We didn't rent any strollers today and the kids were pretty tired. We were all ready for a break from the parks to enjoy our beautiful resort so we decided that's exactly what we'd do tommorrow. Coming up Next: Hoop De Doo

WDW fun in the rain with my family When: June 14-23 Who: Tim-DH (34), me-Joy (34), Alyssa-DD (9), Evan-DS (5) Why: our 11th anniversary and our family vacation On June 13th at 10:00pm we go to our local airport to pick up a mini van that we are renting for the week from Dollar. The kids are spending the night with my mom and dad so they can get some sleep and spend time with Mammaw and Pappaw before we leave. We had purchased a t.v./VCR to use for the trip down and we had just given it to the kids right before they went to stay with my parents. When we get to the Dollar booth they tell us they don't have a mini van available for us to rent! I am hysterical knowing that neither car we have is really up to making such a long trip. They tell me that they can put us in a car but we know the kids will be so disappointed not to be able to use our new VCR and we were not looking forward to such a long drive in cramped quarters. The manager is not there so we decided to take the car (a Concord) and have him call us in the morning. I drive the car home and Tim drives our car. It is a nice car with all the extras and I love the way it drives. It only has about 1000 miles on it and as I drive home I'm thinking that it wouldn't be too bad to drive this car to Florida. When we get home we check out the trunk-which is HUGE. We think we can fit everything in but what about the T.V.? The car has bucket seats so I put the T.V. between the seats on the arm rest and it fits perfectly! It's really tight so it won't fall through. Tim drives me around the block and I put in a video to see if the kids will be able to see ok. They will have a great view so he speeds up and slams on the brake a couple of times to see if the t.v. moves but it stays in place. I'm sure our neighbors think we've lost our minds but we know this t.v. is critical to keeping our sanity so there we were:me in the back seat watching a video, Tim speeding and braking through the neighborhood. We decide we will be ok to keep this car if no van is available early in the morning. The next morning the manager calls and says no van but he will try Atlanta or Orlando to make a trade there. We know we don't want to stop in Atlanta so we tell him we will call him in Orlando. We go to my mom and dad's to pick up the kids and finally head south. The trip goes well. We go 65 South to Nahville and then 24 to Chattanooga. At Chatanooga we get on 75 South. We highly reccommend to welcome center into Georgia from 75 South. It was really nice. Our rental car had Ohio tags and many nice people asked us what county we were from in Ohio. It was funny to see their reaction when we said we weren't from Ohio. Tim wanted to tell them we didn't remember which county we stole the car from but I wouldn't let him. We got to Atlanta at 4:30 on a rainy Friday. The traffic was unbelievable but we made our way through. We finally stopped in Valdosta GA after traveling about 650 miles. June 15- We were back on the road by 9:30 this morning. We stopped at the Florida welcome center for free orange and grapefruit juice. Evan insisted on the grapefruit juice and his face was priceless as he said what kind of grape is this? We continued on 75 until the 27 toll road and the to I-4 into WDW. We arrived clapping and giving high fives at 1:00pm after 872 miles. The VCR was worth its weight in gold!!!! We checked into Port Orleans Riverside around 3:00 and our room was ready. We were in building 14 just as we had requested. It is a non smoking building in the alligator bayou section right next to the main building where the food court, arcade and restaurant are located. The resort was beautiful. We unpacked and then went to check out Ol' Man Island to swim in the pool. I was taking pictures while Evan, Tim and Alyssa got in to swim. Before I even got wet it started to thunder and lightening so they closed the pool! We went to eat at the food court to wait out the rain. The food court wasn't crowded at all and by the time we finished eating we could go out to swim. The pool was a big hit with the kids. Alyssa went down the slide and Evan went on Tim's lap a few times and then he went down on his own with me catching him at the bottom. While I was waiting to catch Evan I helped a few other kids to the edge. The water really rushes there at the bottom and if kids try to swim against it they struggle and panic. The lifeguards were watching and scolded several parents for not being in the water to assist their little swimmers. The pool had a hot tub and kiddie pool area. It had a bridge that went over but they were working on it so you had to get out to go to the side with the slide. This was no problem and I knew my kids would be asking to come back to swim every day. We finally headed back to our room for showers and a snack so we could hit Magic Kingdom early on Sunday morning. Evan was already asking why he hadn't seen the castle yet. Tomorrow: The show must go on!!!!!!!!!

Re: WDW fun in the rain with my family Wednesday June 19: Today we decided to enjoy our beautiful Port Orleans resort. We had 5:00 ressies at Hoop De Doo but we had the rest of the day to relax. When we woke up there was no rain and the sky even looked blue so we decided to check out the French Quarter pool. We rode the Sassagoula riverboat over the the French Quarter. Their pool was just as big as ours and they had a waterslide that looked like a you were sliding down a dragon or sea serpents tongue. They had life vests available and Evan put one on and took off. He loved the slide but Alyssa thought the one at Riverside was better because it was longer. We swam for a couple of hours and then ate lunch at their food court. We used our refillable mugs from Riverside. After lunch the sky started to show signs of familiar rain but Alyssa was getting her hair wrapped and Evan was playing at the playground so we decided to see what would happen. By the time we finished at the French Quarter it was storming so we couldn't ride the riverboat back. We just waited at the bus stop and rode the bus back since it stops at French Quarter and then Riverside. The rain didn't last long and I put a load of laundry while everyone else swam at Ol' Man Island. The laundry was next to one of the quiet pools so Tim brought the kids over to swim while I put the clothes in the dryer. He went back and got ready for Hoop De Doo. I brought the kids back and put the clothes in for another 30 minutes. I sent Tim and Evan to get the clothes out of the dryer while I got ready. 10 minutes later Evan is knocking on the door crying. He says Daddy is walking around in big circles and he can't find the laundry and he isn't going anywhere with him again. I don't see Tim so Alyssa and I walk to the laundry where we find Tim beginning to take the clothes out of the dryer. He has finally found it! He said he watched Evan go back to our room and then figured out where he had made a wrong turn and went to get the clothes. Of course he didn't think of asking anyone for directions! We tease him the rest of the trip about walking around in circles. With clean clothes back in the room we drive our car to Fort Wilderness and follow the signs that say parking for Hoop De Do. We wait at the bus stop at the parking lot (which is called the outpost). The busses are marked with the color of the route they run. I asked the first driver I saw and he said he would be going to Pioneer Hall where Hoop De Do is located. I can't believe how big this campground is and how many people are staying here. We got off at Pioneer Hall and there is also a petting zoo that the kids want to try. Once again the sky is getting pretty dark but they get to see some of the animals before the rains begin agian. We get our picture taken before the rain and before the show. We end up buying it later because it is the only picture we have where we are not soaking wet. The show was lots of fun and even though it is really corny we all laugh alot. They announce our anniversary and Tim tells them it's our 12th instead of our 11th. I guess all the walking around in circles got him a little confused. They invite us to dance with the other anniversary couples. They brought us buckets of food - ribs, corn, baked beans, fried chicken, salad. rolls and we asked for macoroni and cheese. For desert, we had strawberry shortcake. After the show, we walked back to the bus stop and our driver earlier had told us that we could get on any bus that was going to the outpost so we didn't have any trouble getting back to our car. As someone who loves Disney and has been there several times I was really glad to get to see Hoop De Do. I hope to go back again. Coming up Next: This is why we stay on site!

Re: WDW fun in the rain with my family Thursday June 20: Rain or no rain we decide to try Universal's Islands of Adventure today. Our old ponchos are really starting to wear out so we take our rain coats today. BIG MISTAKE! We find it with no trouble. We are parked in a big parking garage and then we walk through the City Walk area which looks great. Universal does their security check right as you put in your ticket which slows up the line quite a bit. Disney's are before the ticket area and that seems to work much more smoothly. We hurry to Spiderman which has a 30 minute wait. It is about 9:30 but they don't start giving our their version of the Fast Pass until 10:00. I hated to spend this early morning touring time in line but this was the main attraction we wanted to see so we stayed in line. We all rode together. It is an unbelievable ride. It is 3-D but you are actually moving. It is really hard to describe. I am really glad I got to do this. Evan was really scared. It's hard for him to distinguish what is real and what is not. He said he was never doing that again. Even Alyssa said it was the scariest ride she'd been on. The combination of effects are very impressive. Tim and I were ready to go again but we knew we needed to keep moving. Next, we went to SeussLand and rode the One Fish, Two Fish ride which is like Dumbo. Then we did Cat In The Hat and the If I Ran the Zoo playground, and the Caro-Seuss-el. The themeing in this area was terrific definately on par with Disney and the rides were enjoyable for all of us. The next area was the Sinbad(?) area. Tim and Alyssa rode the Unicorn which was a little coaster but this was an area made more for teens and thrill riders. The Jurassic Park area was next. Jurassic Park is a favorite for Tim and I like it too. We loved this area. It looks so much like the movie. We did the Jurassic Park boat ride. We all rode because we didn't realize how big the last drop was. Our picture was so funny we had to buy it. Even with the big drop Evan and Alyssa liked the ride. I wish I had a scanner to put in the picture because it is just a riot.I laugh every time I see it. Next, we went to the Jurassic Park playground. Tim and the kids went climbing all through it. Next, we went to Toon Town. This is another area that has incredible themeing. Alyssa and Tim went on the Dudly Do-Right log flume ride. They got an Express Pass which was their version of Fast Pass and it was only 5 minutes until it was their Express time. Their Express pass still has a line where at Disney we basically walked on everything with a Fast Pass BUT if you stay on site at Universal you automatically get an Express Pass for all the rides that offer it just by showing your room key. This would be a great incentive to stay on site there. You also get to choose between two one hour time frames when you want to use the Express Pass. I liked that feature. While we were waiting for Tim and Alyssa to return from the log ride I was talking to a lady with the Express Pass for the whole day for any ride. She said she had been on the raft ride -Bluto's Bilge Barge(?) and people were throwing cups and other things at them so they got the Express pass for the day! Yikes, I hoped those involved in that were made to leave the park. We ate lunch in Toon Town at a food court type restaurant that was super. We went to ride Bluto's Barges next and we got the Express pass. Again, we only had to wait 5 minutes until it was time to our Express time but we waited in the Express line about 20 minutes. The other line was over an hour wait so I'm not complaining. It was a good fast raft ride. It started to rain really hard as we were riding so we walked back to Jurassic Park to go into the Discovery Center. Tim and Alyssa were interested in all the different activities and Evan was enthralled by the "hatching" of the dinosaurs. It continued to pour with no end in sight. We were already soaked so we walked back to Spiderman hoping to ride again and buy something in the gift shop. By the time we got there we were wet, wet, wet even our shoes were wet, every inch of us was wet and there were no Express Passes left so we bought our souveniers and headed to the car. The traffic was terrible and it took us over an hour to get back to Disney. That just reinforced to us how much we appreciate staying on site. After we dried off and changed every piece of clothing we went to Downtown Disney, BUT first, we bought new Disney ponchos so now we looked like everyone else Rain coats work ok at home if you are using them to go back and forth to your car ect. However, they are not made to go marching around in a downpour. At Downtown Disney we started a mantra with another family "The Poncho is Your Friend", "Become One With The Poncho". We just kept repeating these phrases and everyone understands because everyone else has been getting wet all week too. Just laughing about it is all you can do. We knew Friday would be our last day in the parks so we spent lots of money at the HUGE World of Disney Store and then went back to the room. Coming Next: A Magical Moment

Re: WDW fun in the rain with my family Figment1: We are neighbors!! How neat. Yes, I was talking about Holiday World. We just love to go there. It is such a great little park. We even go and stay overnight at Santa's Lodge sometimes with Tim's family. As a matter of fact we are going Friday with our church youth group. (so don't plan to go that day because it will rain LOL) 2Princesses,PS,YoungatHeart,tikibird,SMG and Mrs.M : Thank you for responding to our trip report. This is my first one and I'm learning lots about what kind of notes to keep during the week. As far as the rain goes, we would never let that ruin our vacation. I hate it when people come home from vacation and complain about everything. I did want to mention a few "rough spots" we had- like the rental car and the waiter at Garden Grill but a good attitude is the key! We had a fabulous time together as a family and I hope that's what comes through most. I took my pictures to be developed and I want to get the trip report finished before I start the scrapbooking. Thanks again everyone for reading it really keeps the magic alive for a little longer. Joy
