Re: The "Was I really Switched at Birth?" Pre-trip Report Turned Trip Report Steve, I'm sad to say I didn't ride Kraken. ALthough the loops don't bother me, the corkscrews do. RnRC doesn't bother me that much because there are fewer corkscrews and it's in the dark. I call my niece Stinky because she is a little Stinker! She called Pizza Hut at 20 months (memorized the phone # from the commercial) because she wanted pizza. Ever since she began talking she dishes it right back at you. There is nothing this child can't respond to. I had her convinced her name was Kada Wada Stinky Winky Silly Willy when she was little. I'll try to write more latter today! I hope it isn't too long!

Re: The "Was I really Switched at Birth?" Pre-trip Report Turned Trip Report I'm loving your report and can't wait for more! Congratulations Stinky! You are really good at keeping your cool! I tend to mouth off to people who mouth off to me. If she had said "I told you to move!" to me I would have let her know what she could move! What a selfish father to make his little girl feel that way! Makes you wonder if the trip was for the kids or the father.

| Re: The "Was I really Switched at Birth?" Pre-trip Report Turned Trip Report Wow! I've only just got to the point where Stinky won 1st place in the dance competition and I've got tears in my eyes. It must be your writing style Forti! I've got to get back to reading now, but I just had to stop and tell you that I'm enjoying your report tremendously. Looking forward to more. | Re: The "Was I really Switched at Birth?" Pre-trip Report Turned Trip Report Forti- Love your trip report! especially being with Stinky! I wanted to take my youngest niece to WDW with me so bad this past March so I'm living that thrill vicariously through you !! Aren't nieces wonderful? I am inclined to believe that you treat you niece the way I treated my nieces while growing up. I was like a second Mom to my nieces for most of their growing up years.. I was childless until my oldest niece was 10 & doted on them ( I still do but it's more at an adult level now) I fact, my Bro & SIL lived in the same block as me & I would babysit my oldest niece daily! My Bro & SIL now live about 1/4 mile from me so I see my youngest niece quite often as well ( she's 17 now! & visits regularly~ oldest niece is away at college ) Looking forward to more... |

Re: The "Was I really Switched at Birth?" Pre-trip Report Turned Trip Report Excellent report, Forti! I'm finally getting a chance to read it. And I can use that as an excuse for not working on my own. Stinky's dance - wonderful description! And way to go, kid!! Don't you just love it when the underdog wins!! Strollermom - hello, can we say "manners"? We ran into our share of obnoxious parents w/ strollers, and we were made to feel like there was something wrong w/us. Psychodad - poor daughter. She'll be telling that story to her therapist one day. Kids squeezing the Mickey Bars - where were the parents?? We'd've gotten clocked upside the head for doing stuff like that. Again, we ran into our share of obnoxious kids, whose parents seemed to think Disney World is a good excuse for not making the little darlings behave. Your description of you and Stinky - oh, reminds me of when my oldest niece lived close enough for me to visit a couple of times a year. Now I see her once every two years. Took her to MK when she was 9 and we had an absolute blast. How I'd love to take her again! Stinky sounds so much like her -- what a cool kid! Tell me more!! Can't wait to hear the rest.

Re: The "Was I really Switched at Birth?" Pre-trip Report Turned Trip Report Great report so far, Forti! And I must admire the patience you have in dealing with crazy stroller lady and grubby-handed, Mickey bar squeezin' tykes. I must say my tolerance level would have not withstood such incidents. Also -- congrats to Kada! That is amazing! Michelle
