Re: Tikibird Flies Over the Hill in the World: June/July 2002 WL - Completed w/photos Great trip report and FANTASTIC pictures! I always look forward to your reports because they are so funny and so full of good details! And that picture of the statue of Roy and Minnie (thanks tiki ) with Mainstreet in the background made me so homesick for WDW! THanks for sharing! I wanna go back I love your pictures-especially the one at night of Walt and Minnie(or is it Mickey?). Where is that statue? I don't remember seeing it. More trip report please! : Laura

Re: Tikibird Flies Over the Hill in the World: June/July 2002 WL - Completed w/photos I believe the statue is of Roy and Minnie, and it is located between the flagpole area and the Emporium on Main St. I had never seen it before either, was just waiting for the guys to use the facilities and was like "Wow, what is THAT?!!!" Pat, the Food Police mainly is concerned with what I'm eating (for more detail see my June 2000 and Dec 2001 trip reports). (We started dating when we were 16, and I've picked up a few pounds since then, which disturbs him greatly. However, he is also visibly disgusted when he sees anyone eating late at night. There will be a surprise twist to this later in the report, though, stay tuned. I won't be able to get back to this until after we get my dad through surgery - but promised to do so as soon as I can. Thanks for the feedback everyone!

Re: Tikibird Flies Over the Hill in the World: June/July 2002 WL - Completed w/photos Tikibird, great report! Love all the details. Sounds like you loved WL. We ate at Whispering Canyon for dinner and the kids said " Um, Mom, why aren't we staying here?" Isn't the lobby unbelievable? Keep writing!

Re: Tikibird Flies Over the Hill in the World: June/July 2002 WL - Completed w/photos Hey Tiki! First, I hope your dad's surgery goes/went okay. Sounds like my dad! Second, about those extra pounds, who hasn't put on a few??? I got my mom's thighs for my 35th birthday. When will the world accept that women are genetically designed to carry a certain amount of fat? And it's here to stay. One of the things that makes me start to think God isn't a woman. Last, I saw a Prowler in the parking lot of the gym today, and thought of a question I meant to ask before. That thing is a two-seater. What was your DH planning to do with your sons and luggage??? Tie them all to the bumper??? BTW, Dennis drools over that Prowler every time he sees it. Can we say "mid-life crisis"? [ 07-16-2002, 10:48 PM: Message edited by: pflamingo ]

Re: Tikibird Flies Over the Hill in the World: June/July 2002 WL - Completed w/photos For some odd reason I can't see your pictures, maybe it's because I'm at work. I will have to make sure I pull up your trip report tonight when I go home. But I am loving your report. Thank you for sharing it with us
