| Mark and Ella\'s "world" tour (or it is hot out!) Cast Members: Ella (30) Mark (31) September 10th day 1 Epcot After a VERY rough start to the holiday we were determined to have fun, we were up at 7:00am to get ready for our 9:15am princess breakfast in Norway. We were out the door at 8:30 as soon as the door was opened our sunglasses steamed up and we both said aloud at the same time, it is hot out! We caught the bus to Epcot with time to spare so we took a slow walk to Norway. Mark is facinated with the amount of frogs and lizards that seem to be everywhere, he never grew tired of stopping to look or taking pictures of them, as lizards do not natrually run around England it was percieved to be something of a novelety, we will have a full set of lizard pictures when we get home. The princess breakfast was lovely and what was even more lovely was to see the reaction of all the children when they saw thier favourite princess. Our server was Bjorn, a lovely man with truly bad jokes, he was so surprised about us not wanting seconds saying that we should get what we paid for but our appetites were on British time. The princesses we saw were Snow white, Jasmine, Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty, and Belle. Mark was in his element being surrounded by all his favourite women. After the breakfast we walked down to innovations and sent an email back home, after playing with all the toys we took a trip on test track, this is Mark's favourite ride he loves it, so do I but I hate the bit where the big truck comes straight out of no where, I have to close my eyes every time. Next on to space ship earth, we were the only people around as Epcot was quiet so it seemed as though we had the whole ride to ourselves. next we stopped off at the pin station as I had brought alot of uk disney store pins to trade with people, I traded my Cinderella mood pin for the Emperors New Groove llama pin which became my favourite. Did lots of shopping at Mouse Gears and had it all sent back to hotel (I love this service) Before touring the worlds we stopped off at ice station cool where I like the watermelon drink and mark believe it of not, loves the taste of the beverly drink, he says I should try it, I did and it made me want to gag. As we were on holiday for 13 more days we decided not to do everything in any one day, so we breezed through Canada but stopped of in the uk to look at all of the things we could by back home. Mark and most of the cast members had animated talks about how the rugby was going and who was top of the leauge in the football, alot of them seemed quite homesick for a decent cup of tea. We breezed through France stopping only long enough to see if they sold any Toulouse-Lautrec prints that I don't have but no, so onward to Morocco, I in particular loved all of the nooks and crannies of morocco, we were standing next to a door close to the restaurant when it opened suddenly and Aladdin who gave me his best boyish smile and said "tell me princess have you seen Princess Jasmine amoungst your travels?" I say yes that we had breakfast with her in Norway he said "Norway, Norway, where is Norway? I laughed and said it was about 6 countries over from here, he smiled and winked and said "if you see he again tell her I am looking for her" and he went back through the door whence he came. Next on to the American Adventure where saw the very poignant flag that was found amoungst the trade centre destruction we did not stay for the show and moved on to italy where we sat and drank coffee in the shade. We passed by Germany and went shopping in China where we bought mark's neice and nephew gorgeous chinese outfits, next back to Norway where I found a troll that best resembeled his mother, I am going to give it to her for Christmas, by this time we were getting over-heated and hungry so we stopped off in mexico for some food at the San Angel Inn, the food was to die for. I love the theming and atmosphere of this restaurant, it is so romantic. We bought a wooden mexican statue of a bird that looked just like our Pixel as we were missing him. After Mexico we walked back to future world extremely full and getting quite tired as we are effected still by jet lag so we decided to go back to our hotel, I know alot of people will stay in any park from crack of opening until close to feel as they will get thier money worth, but we were knackered so we left at 5pm, when we got back to the hotel we freshened up and had cocktails in scat cats, then bought those free refillable drink mugs and discovered the joy of all you can drink! In bed by 10pm completely exausted and looking foreward to the next day at the magic kingdom. tune in for tommorrows installment of Ella and Marks "world" tour (or Oh My God! I am shocked!) Cheers! | Re: Mark and Ella\'s "world" tour (or it is hot out!) I'm enjoying your trip report! We saw some British visitors comparing notes with a CM working in England when we were there in August, and I thought the CM seemed very homesick in general. I am looking forward to your next report! Sheila |

| Re: Mark and Ella\'s "world" tour (or it is hot out!) Ella our cats wait by the front door every morning in hopes of finding a tree frog on the screen. They are indoor kitties so the "garage" is their outdoors where they "hunt" the lizards and toads. I love Toulouse-Lautrec's work as well. Your trip report is just a joy to read. |
