Trip report tips We head out to WDW very soon and I'm planning on doing a trip report when we get back. I think it could be the longest one ever, as we're there for 20 days! What I'm after is some advice, as I don't want to bore you all! Making notes and writing the report shouldn't be a problem, as I've kept a diary for the last 16 years, but I know what I like to read about in trip reports - now what about you? Help me out with some ideas here! Thanks, Cheryl

Re: Trip report tips I LOVE THE TRIP REPORTS, ESPECIALLY THE LONG ONES. AEROBICS AND CREULLA'S ARE LONG BUT THE DETAIL IS JUST GREAT. When you read the longer ones you feel like you are right there. Be sure to tell all about the Christmas decorations. I think the Osborne lights are just fantastic. I have a bad knee so I don't know when I will get back so I live my WDW experience through trip reports. I will have surgery probably next year and hopefully it will help. I envy you keeping a diary for that long. I just kept my trip reports in a diary for the last couple of years. I wished I had started sooner because as you get older, I am having senior moments, you tend to forget. I was even thinking of getting a tape recorder when I go to California for the Rose Parade. HAVE A GREAT TIME AND HAVE A CHURO FOR ME AND A MICKEY BAR TOO. HAPPY HOLIDAYS. Travlin Gal, Colorado Jan

Re: Trip report tips Well, I've only read a few trip reports but, I would say: 1. Lots of detail is good! 2. Whatever you can tell us from your perspective is great - it is wonderful to hear different viewpoints on things 3. Any tips from things you learned (good and bad) is great 4. Pictures are always an added plus - it is great to be able to put faces with names (and you can upload your pictures for free to sites like Shutterfly and link from there. 5. I always enjoy a good sense of humor! However, bottom line, whatever you feel like writing about - remember - this is a lasting memory for you to keep of your trip, as well as to share with others.

Re: Trip report tips I love details!! One thing that helps me when I read trip reports is when the reports are broken down into smaller paragraphs. Sometimes when I read long posts with no paragraphs I lose my place.
