Day Six...

Our all too short vacation was now coming to an end. But we did have a 5:00 flight so we had some time for shopping at Downtown Disney. We had breakfast first at the Yacht Club Galley again, which we enjoyed as much as we did earlier in the week. After returning from DD, we headed to Beaches & Cream for lunch as I had promised Nicole. It was extremely busy as usual with many guests waiting outside, but we somehow managed to get two seats at the counter which I assume were not in demand. We enjoyed it anyway and then spent some time in the lobby before Tiffany Towncar would be there to take us to the airport. I actually ran into Mariah Carey while getting our luggage, which was an interesting end to our stay at Yacht Club. Before we knew it we were back in New Jersey, with plenty to be excited about even though our vacation was over.

Overall this was clearly our most memorable visit ever to WDW. While getting engaged was the obvious highlight, Nicole and I were also thrilled with our stay at Yacht Club. It was everything we had always dreamed it would be. The theming, the location, the pools. Everything was perfect. It was without a doubt worth every penny, and we would certainly stay there in the future as long as it was in our budget.

Now we are looking forward to our wedding on July 31, 2004 that will take place here at home. We did give a Disney wedding serious consideration, but decided in the end it would work best for us here. The thrill of getting engaged at our favorite place on earth was plenty to make us happy. Now we look forward to the days that we will spend in WDW as a married couple, and then eventually those with a family. No matter how many times we visit in the future, this is a trip that we will truly never forget.

Thanks for sharing in our adventure, hope you enjoyed it!

This was fantastic. The link for the video is dead now. I wish there was a way to see it.

I was just talking to my GF about wanting to propose to her on our next trip or two trips from March 2008. So this was a great TR to read.

Thanks a lot. I hope everything is going well.
