Just got back from WDW

We just got back! We had the most awesome time of our lives. We stayed at the CBR with a corner room. It looked out onto the boardwalk covered in lush vegetation. Our Mousekeeper was great. She decorated our room EVERY day with our Disney characters we brought with us. We went to all of the parks and only had to use Fast Pass once!! There were NO lines and we rode everything as much as we wanted. We did E-Ride night and had the best time. There was hardly anyone there and it was great. I had an itinerary planned out for all the parks but didn't follow it once...we didn't have to. Had breakfast on Saturday at the Crystal Palace and my 9 year old was picked as the chef of the day. He was able to decorate Mickey pancakes with Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet, he got a chefs hat and an autographed certificate from them! I also celebrated my birthday Thursday at Epcot and bought a passport. All the wonderful people in the World Showcase wrote Happy Birthday to me in their own language and I had my picture taken with Pooh on the U.K...no one knew he was there in the store! They also gave me a certificate which Pooh signed...it was the best time I had ever had. Even though it rained almost the entire time we were there, it definitely didn't dampen our spirits. Oh, and my husband got his picture taken with his favorite character...Stitch! We absolutely could not have asked for a better time. This was our very first family trip and the most memorable. Oh, and I don't know what I would have done without my PassPorter. I carried it with me the entire time and the pockets came in so handy to carry our passes, money, pamphlets, etc. And when I didn't have a map handy, we would just open the book and use that one. We love our PassPorter!!

Hi. Glad to hear you had a good time. We,(me,dh and 11 yo dd) are going in September and also staying at CBR. We have never stayed at CBR and I was wondering what more you could tell me about it. How was the food court, Shutters, and the buses? Which building were you in? Thanks for more details!! We can't wait! Lori

Glad you had such a good time. We had a corner room at CBR as well. - We always looked forward to going back to our room to see what Mousekeeping did with our purchases, most of which were Eeyores.

Welcome home!

I always try to ask:

Did you learn anything on your trip?

Like calling CRO instead of WDTC, or early bird rides the rides?

Wow, what a magical experience at the Crystal Palace. Which building at CBR did you stay in? We were there last year and really enjoyed it.
