We love Disney! Hi everyone, I can't believe people replied to my post--that is just awesome! We planned our trip using the passporter and my husband now thinks he is a disney expert--but there can only be one in the family and that is me! We made sure that we went to Magic Kingdom first and let our children (ages 6 and Adam turned 9 while we were there) pick what rides they wanted to go on first(of course they picked everything in Fantasyland). What more can I say about the parks other than we had the best time wherever we went. The dining at Disney is the only thing that I would complain about---too expensive and no variety (at the fast food places) We ate at Cosmic Ray's a couple of times and it was pretty good. We ate at the 50's prime time cafe and it was interesting to say the least. We did the Fantasmic package at Hollywood and Vine and it was a buffet and pretty good. We also went to the Princess Breakfast at Restaurant Askerhaus in Epcot and it was really nice but I think I liked the Princess breakfast at the Castle in Magic Kingdom. One thing I can say is if you have picky eaters the food selection for children is not that great. Anyways gotta go! Have a great week everybody. Karen P. PS. If you stay at a Disney resort and your child needs to go to a clinic there is a shuttle that will pick you up and take you to Centra Care----free of charge ( I did not know that until we had to take my son because of his allergies----lots of mold in Florida according to my family doctor)

Re: We love Disney! Karen! Sounds like you guys had an awesome time! As for the restaurants, WDW's counter service specializes in a heck of a lot of comfort food, just because kids are the biggest target at WDW and kids are picky eaters. Exploring and sampling different sit-down restaurants is a delight that takes many trips, next time, try more of the World Showcase restaurants or some of the resort restaurants for a MUCH bigger selection and quality for the price. Thanks for the medical tip, hope that event didn't dampen the trip too much!

Re: We love Disney! Karen, Enjoyed hearing more thoughts on your trip. I still have a picky eater (age 22 ), but just get him some chicken fingers at a counter service restaurant and he's quite content (also eats stuff from the kids' table at the buffets! ). Thanks for the tip on Centra Care - I needed to use this once and really appreciated not having to drive there. Glad to have you with us as part of our Passporter family!

Re: We love Disney! Is fun too see Disney through the eyes of a CHildren. I have found that the fast food placeare all pretty much the same. I had a picky eater with me in July & at Disney we did not have any problem with him finding something to eat. This kid limits himself to CHeese.... grilled cheese, mac & cheese, cheese or pepperoni pizza, french fries. WIll eat chicken nuggets in a pinch ( has to be nuggets, not fingers) Now Seaworld was a different story. Could not find one there where he could eat something. Finally settles for Hotdog place for myself & other 2 kids & He got French fries. Buffets were always interesting, the Boys loved going to them to choose what they wanted & more than one thing. GLad you had a great time, hope you took lots of photo memories.
